Never been to TTR but since everyone has been telling us that we should go try out 'old' TTR planning a trip for the first week of July. We are from Detroit, MI.

What is the best way to book, should we book it online and then book flights, or are there any packaged deals?

    Thanks

    Jay

From what I have seen when booking the prices on the travel websites for the room are about the same as the hotels website, maybe a few bucks less. The savings comes in when you package it with a flight. The trips I have booked the R/T non stop flight out of ORD only cost about 150 on american airline.

See if anyone you talked to may be members and then you can get the lowest room rates using one of their referals but your flight most likely wont be as low. From what I have heard this is the cheapest route to take. While visiting on a referal you will have to take the sales pitch tour to become a member otherwise you screw the person who gave you the referal out of perks for them.

try cheap tickets, cheapcaribbean (usually the best price here when I looked), expedia as glenn/monique suggested, also Kayak will display several different sites prices and redirect you to them.

We always find the best package deals on Expedia, but Alpharooms and Orbits have also been good sometimes.

We Just booked Expedia and got some really great rates for the 2ed week in July. They just simply had the best rates for our times and they are easy to use when trying to pick our days.

We booked through Cheapcarribean. I researched all different sites orbitz, Expedia, kayak spent countless hours and cheapcarribean was the best rate
