Hi, I have a few questions about walmart. To get there, do I just need to take a bus outside of Temptation that says walmart? And do they accept dollar bills there? Thanks! Suebee
There is a bus stop right in front of Temptations. Take either R-2 or R-15 to Wal-mart. On the return trip the bus will drop you off across the street from Temptations. Both the bus & Wal-mart accepts dollar bills. Scott

When we tried to find Walmart, we got lost! We took the bus that said Walmart, but didn't realize that it is one block off the bus route, even though we asked the bus driver to let us off at Walmart. It is on the left side of the road. Perhaps someone can provide a point of reference as to when to get off if this were to happen to them.
we took a taxi that was outside the resort, he charged us $20 drove us there told us to shop as long as we wanted 2 or 3 hours and he would take us shoping anywhere we wanted, stoped at a couple other stores and then took us back to the resort and didnt want any money until we got back to the resort......it was like having your own car with a driver and a guide for the day for $20 .....it was well worth it!!!
Can't think of a landmark other than Wal-Mart itself. :? You are correct it is on the left side of the road & only a couple of blocks from Market 28 so you can get off @ that stop & walk over to Wal-Mart. There is a car dealership between the two, maybe that will help. Another tip we use is sit as close to the driver as possible to be able to notify him to stop when you see your destination. Scott
You can always ask your airport transfer to take you by walmart before taking you to the resort. This way you can get all your shopping done there before you get started. They charge a fee for this but it varies.
The alcohol is cheaper than the liqour stores near the resort and some people what their special brands for the resort. I brought some back as souvies. They have LOTS of Cancun theme items if you wanna get a few cheap t's for souvies. Plenty of reasons.
