Hubby and I are disagreeing about the Walmart near TTR...do they sell hard liquor or only beer? Sorry if this has been asked and answered before...guess that's why we're having this debate!!! Thanks for any replies..... btw-I think I remembered reading they DO sell liquor, hubby says no they don't....maybe I should make a bet with him.....hmmm now I'm thinking.....:icon_confused:
They sure do, and it's cheap!! We picked up two 1L bottles of smirnoff vodka for about 13 bucks a piece!!
A half gallon jug of Bacardi Rum at Wally World is 24.00 US. Also check out the OXXO store about one block from TTR. Bacardi 40 pounder for about 14.oo US. The drug store right across from TTR is a rip off. They charge about 22.00 US for a 26 ounce bacardi.
Across the street from Walmart is La Europia liquor store that has a great selection at great prices. But you win the bet.... Jamie
We were looking all over for that liquor store last time we were there and never found it. Where is it? (and don't say "across the street" lol) Tell me if it is by the Applebees, in a strip mall way across the street where you can't really see what is there, or behind Walmart across the street?? I swear we walked around all over there and couldn't find a liquor store - it was super frustrating!! now I am just curious about where the hell it was ... :aktion060: If you have a membership at Sam's Club, there is one next to Walmart and they have fantastic "economy size" values on liquor - they even sell huge bottles of Hpnotiq!

If you are standing with Walmart to your back, it's to your left. Walk down the sidewalk to the street (the one where you catch the bus back to the hotel) and before you walk out into the street, look up and you will see the sign. Jamie
I don't like the beer at the resort. Does anyone know if Walmart sells Modelo beer? I'm going to need a lot since we are there for 2 weeks and as far as I remember the resort only has Dos XX's on tap. Or do they have something better on the down low? Thanks!
