this is our first trip to Cancun area .... just wondering if the beach is "walkable"

we are used to going for a mile or two walk each day .. before the partying starts :) ... is that possible here ?

You can walk the beach, but understand this is not the ocean, its more like a marina area. BUt you certainly walk a mile in the direction to the left of the resort when your looking are the water from the beach.

Spend a few hours one day by taking the bus down to the downtown hotel zone for $1 each and get off - walk a few kilometers down the beach and pop back out to the main road, grab the bus back to Temptation for $1 each.

Beaches are very pretty down there and you get a good view of all the other resorts -

We had a nice walk last year along the shore line, we went right (when facing the water) and it wasn't a super long walk but was a nice break. Forgot to try left. Guess that's a goal for this year's trip!

If you turn right at the water and walk all the way down you end up by the pirate ship and the isla mujeres ferry...there's also a little bar there which makes some really good drinks.

If you turn left you can go further and you can see some houses and hotels from the water side which is quite interesting to see. If you walk down to where the public beach is then you can cut across and come back on the path by the street.

    Both are nice little walks.
