Hey! I just wondering. Is there any place close to Temptation or in Cancun were we can take lesson or try wake board and/or surf? Thanks!!
I don't think there is much of any surfing going on in Cancun area. Wakeboarding there might be something around.
Jose, Manuel, and Louis in water sports do Windsurf and Hobie Cat lessons there are also kayaks you can sign out....no charge for these activities or lessons...only real big surf is on the ocean side of cancun...no surf on the bay side where Temptations is located..
I didn't see anywhere to wakeboard or surf. I would be surprised if there are ever waves big enough in the bay. The windsurfing equipment at the resort is OK but I would bring your own harness and booties. I have had some pretty good rides with their equipment. You have to watch out for the sandbars though. There are a lot of shallow spots. But...you might get lucky with a windy day if you know how to windsurf. There is also a sailing shack (a real shack) just down the beach to the west. Just a 5 minute walk. They rent windsurfing and kiting gear. I am pretty sure they offer kite board lessons. This will probably be the closest that you get to wake boarding close by to TTR.

I don't remember the guys name but he had a wakeboard boat down in the lagoon across the street from the Sun Palace. I have been wakeboarding with him. Somewhat expensive but it was a great day on the water. James
