Me and my friends booked are trip through a travel agent so as of now we arent included in any VIP packages. Are travel agent told us we will be able to get one when we get to cancun. I was wondering what package you guys think is best. I was looking at the STS package. Which packages do most people use? Which ones are u all gonna use? Also if ur gonna be at RIU CANCUN march5th-11th....get ready to get fucked up!
1- Welcome aboard. 2 - The Party packages area good idea for some, and a bad idea for others. The good thing about them is they save you money (not a lot -- but hey, we're in a recession) The bad thing about them is you don't really have options. With the STS one, and the StudentCity one, you pretty much know what you're doing / where you're going. There's no room for flexibility if you end up liking one place more than the other, or if you meet someone during the day who's going somewhere else. I'm sure others will chime in on this. In the meantime, poke around here. I think it's been discussed before, and you'll pick up more info along the way.
I agree with Andrew that if you've already paid for the pass, you're pretty much stuck going there. Sure, you can go elsewhere other than what is planned, but then wouldnt that just be a waste of buying the pass? I had a pass last year, but don't think I used it more than once, but then again I got it for free so, I guess its a different situation. My advice, if this is your first time going, use the pass, experience everything, all the clubs and what nots, gives you a better idea of what you're dealing with, should you choose to go back again next year
