Have just heard friends are stuck in a bar watching the footie match and are not being allowed out because 3 bodies that have been decapitated have been found outside. When we hear what bar I will update.(downtown Cancun)
I was in La Taberna earlier. Not a hint of a problem on Yaxchilan. It was about the time Tracey posted. No sirens, emergency vehicles or anything out of the ordinary for early on a Sat evening.
Nothing in the news this am- hopefully a false rumour the guy who told us is a police officer and was actually saying he needed to leave the match at the bar because he had been called to the incident ! So sorry for dodgy information. I imagine often stuff happens and doesnt get reported .
