This was late at night on our first night, Saturday Oct. 15 - it had been raining most of the day, but the wind really kicked up in the afternoon and just wouldn't stop. It blew like that for at least 24 hours until Sunday night when it finally calmed down and was just raining. This was after 2 separate cleanings by housekeeping staff, probably around 2pm when we were waiting for our new room to get cleaned. The dripping you can hear is the water coming in through the sliding glass door onto the floor, and the flooding you see on the floor was 10 minutes after housekeeping got done cleaning up the water for the second time! Thanks for posting those. We live about 2 miles from TTR and never saw winds like that at all in downtown Cancun. Makes a huge difference being beach side.
