:bowdown::mexicoflag: We were headed to TTR with no knowledge of what to expect, except for all that we read on cancuncare.com. It helped alot even though the complainers were very inaccurate. Our backs never felt better on the beds. We used waxed ear plugs for the party noise, that was a great move. We have absolutely no complaints what so ever. Day 1, arrived at 1:30pm with concerns over timeshare people. Was not an issue. A poolside room was ready. In total surprise we headed to our room. Took 20 minutes to open suitcases. In the mean time we celebrated being there and did 2 shots of tequila. Brought our own cups, thanks to you guys. Filled them half and half with rum & coke and went down to check everything out. Didn't really note our room number very well and its not on your key card, went to the quiet side pool first. Had 2 more shots of tequila. Partied for alittle while there and then headed to the party pool side. Sat down at the bar, had more tequila and we went over to test the water. The party was on and its only 3:00pm. Drifted over to the hot tub and fell in. Met a group of new friends, who also like tequila. So the females decided to get more shots and came back. At this point, there goes the bathing suit tops:flash: Did I mention that we forgot to eat? Yes we got caught in the 1st day curse. We have no clue what happened after 5:00pm or how we found our room. Found out a day later that a TTR angel assisted us back to our room, helped us open the door and said she's glad we enjoyed out 1st day. We have no memory of the next 4 hours. She's down for the count and I'm too drunk to know any better. So sometime around 8:30pm, but I truly don't remember, I walk down the stairs to Paty O's, sat down and had a rum & coke. At this time, I was sitting at the bar, seeing double. A few minutes later this angel walked up to me and said what are you doing back down here again? I took you two home hours ago. You need to go back to your room. Grabbed me by the ear and said your going back to your room. I certainly didn't argue because I had no business being back down there in the first place. Yelled in my door Hi honey I'm home and the angel closed the door. Day 2 - WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AND HOW DID WE GET HOME! My wife stated she's laying low today. Went and had breakfast, we were starved, which by the way the food was great! Went back to our room to get bathing suits on and go hang by the pool. It only took 40 minutes till Chris was in the margaritas. Apparently, Chris doesn't realize margaritas have tequila in them. Enjoyed the entertainment around the pool. Laughed until our faces hurt. Stayed until the skin was red. Went and had dinner. Took a short nap and went down to Paty O's. Made it an early night because we had the TTR booze cruise in the morning. This is where the wax earplugs came in handy. Dubs out 90% of the sound. Day 3 - Booze Cruise. We had set it up to meet 10 other people that we know from home that were staying at another resort. This was our chance to hook up. Our catamaran was outrageous. The whole boat was filled with party animals, and yes back into the tequila. Definitely recommend the booze cruise. We also had a concern, because we had another couple flying in to meet us and after being in the sun drinking all day, these two newbies were going to be ready to party. 5:00pm went back to the room, got a 1 hr nap, opened the door and a note was saying they were there. I headed over to their room and they were on the balcony hammered. We were headed to dinner and the lingerie party at New Shoes. I've never seen my wife looking so hot, along with all the other ladies there. What a blast! Back to Paty O's and I think we fell in our door about 2:30am, don't remember. Day 4 - partied around the pool all day, more tequila. Dinner at the Asian restaurant, was excellent. Headed to Paty O's for White Night, School Girl, Glow night. Great participation in all three. Partied like rock stars. Don't know what time we fell in the door that night, don't remember. Day 5- Saturday. Started out cloudy and alittle cool so we took the bus to town and went to Pier 29 for some shopping. Bought some pretty cool things and more tequila, like we really needed it. Came back and had dinner and headed to Saturday nights pool party. Started out cool and rapidly heated up. There was a different twist to the entertainment, but an excellent show. Good partying and dancing. The couple we were with and to go on an excursion at 7:00am the next morning, to the ruins, they left the pool party hammered at about 2:45am. I get up the next morning to get Chris and I a pool seat at 7:00am, trip down the steps, fell over two lawn chairs and said to myself, they had to be at the ruins by now. Better them than me. Then went back to my room for 1 more hour of sleep. Day 6- Went to the beach, just the two of us and spent the day chilling, relaxing and drinking more tequila. I looked at her and said Hey let's take out a sailboat. What a blast. Went out far enough, could barely see land, put the nose into the wind and stopped on an aqua sand bar. You could see stingray. It was awesome! Had our own little party. We were only suppose to be gone an hour, came back 2 1/2 hrs later. We came back and went to the sports pool and joined in tequila volleyball. Now we are on opposite teams. Needless to say we drank alot of tequila. It got so bad on Chris's side, Tracy had Chris go to the cooler and get more bottles of tequila. Somehow she took this as she is now the host and started pouring tequila down everyone's throat for the hell of it. Needless to say, they lost. The losing team got a cooler full of cold water and ice dumped on them. Rude awakening, but great from my end. Meet up with our friends for dinner at the steak house. Day 7-Monday. Partied at the pool. Meet many of the cancuncare people, laid back Lenny, Jason & Christine, Paul & Cindy, Rick & Penny, Gabrielle & Marcus from Germany, saw Jeff & Janet but never got a chance to say Hi, sorry guys.
LOL! Sounds like our first trip to Cancun back in 2009 ......... Here's hoping that I can outlive the 1st night curse this trip! Will find out in 12 days .......... wish me luck!

Sorry to stop the TR so abruptly but ran out of room, Had four more days that we were there but the report was long enough. needless to say we indulged. Did get to do lingerie night again and won some nice prizes.
