Hi all, My first time using the message board - 4 very important questions I need answering, as travelling to Temptations Cancun on 28 th Dec 09: 1. Is sparkling wine/cava available on the all inclusive option - as we do rather have an addiction. 2. Do the rooms have an iron? 3. Do the rooms have a hairdryer? 4. Will my hair straighteners heat up to the heat required? 5. How much will it cost me in a taxi from the airport to Temptations? 6. Is it better to bring US dollars or pesos for tipping? 7. Are beach/pool towels provided? 8. Can I have wine in my mini bar as part of all inc? Many thanks to all for replies. Cannot wait now for 28th Dec. Ali xxx
No wine but, if you tip the right bartender, you can get it. All rooms have irons as well as hairdriers. Electricity works very well. A taxi is about $40 from the airport. You can tip in either dollars or pesos. The front desk can do currency exchange but, will not change it back from pesos to dollars. They give cards for towels upon registering. Don't loose the card. You'll need it when you discharge or pay about $20 per towel. There's no wine in the mini bar but it is available for purchase. The mini bar has water, soda, beer & v8 veg. drink. Trust me when I say, you will have a great time!
No more towel cards...you just sign for the towels now at the towel hut...still charge for a lost towel...
sparkling wine they have a great choice of rose or white sparkling wine on all the bars its yummy.. also you can buy some very nice cheeap wine at wallmat and pop it in your fridge xx
