We're planning a trip with a newbie couple for Sept./ Oct. We've been there twice now and believe they'll have a great time but they're both vegetarians. They have asked what it's like for veggie lovers and while we think it's OK I was hoping someone with a more vested interest might be able to answer better. There's got to be a vegetarian out there who's been, at least I hope so. It's hard to be non-biased when I pretty much spent the eating parts of the trip stuffing my face with meat. And let the jokes begin lol
As far as the buffet goes, there are plenty of choices... At the other restaurants, I do recall there being a few choices...
My wie is a vegetarian and had no problems eating - but vegan might be a problem. She had pastries and eggs for breakfast most of the time, lunch was rice/beans/etc, and then dinner always had at least 1 option - and she mentioned that she was vegetarian at the italian restaurant and they made her something special since she wanted something that had meat but requested "no meat"... The Buffet at TTR is quiet impressive to be honest. There is something for everyone and we are perfectly content eating there. We usually make reservation one night but if we miss them..It's not a big deal.
I remember someone else posting about eating as a vegetarian. They found plenty to eat, but make sure you tell the waiter at the sit down restaurants. Some of the descriptions aren't complete, but if you tell them ahead of time they will make sure there isn't any meat used.
Thanks for the great replies I feel much better bringing them now. I know I was supposed to look in April but, well... er... AIWC dammit!!!!
