We come a couple times a year to Temptation 10 years now. Rare we pay more than 275 a night. Used to be 150 but can't seem to find that deal anymore even though there is a Banner Ad top of this page for HotelTravel.com advertising Temptation 149 a night. We used to get that but not in the last couple years.

So we went to book for our annual March trip and 490 an night seems to be the going rate.

We like Temptation as much as the next couple but 500 a night they can kiss our butts goodbye.

WE are the reason Temptation Rocks!
Not the mediocre rooms or the pretty okay food or the same old entertainment around the pool.

We are the ones who Rock!

We're going to keep shopping right up to the 6th of March for a deal, no more than 300 a night but we're not getting ripped off for 500.

It'll be a shame to miss out on Loli's birthday fun and this is our " in advance just in case we can't come " apology if we don't show but if they think the fun people are going to drop 500 a night on this place it won't be long before it's empty.

We know what fun is and its hard to place a dollar amount on that but Price versus Value is maxed out at about 300 a night for a Temptation experience.

Just an opinion. Your mileage may vary.

We would have to agree, $500 a night is a stretch. On the other hand, we fully understand demand pricing and when you are down to the final 2% of your rooms, why not price them at $500? Someone will buy them. It's no different than airline seats. Buy early and save!

Are you talking March 2016, or in a few weeks March? And if it is the latter, why did you wait until now to book?

That is crazy. We paid around 2400 for 10 nights in October through orbitz. That is 240 a night included is airfare. That is also the total for 2 people

How does the referral system work? We are looking to book again for June and then December.

Trying to book a high season trip three weeks prior is not a good way to find a good price. If you're unable to plan ahead, you'll pay a bunch more to get the dates you want. We have 11 days booked the end of april for $1200 each...including nonstop flights from Minneapolis. Cheaper than we paid in 2007...prices haven't risen...they've come down. You just can't book at the last possible moment.

Cheap Hotels, Flights, Airline Tickets, Airfare, Vacations, Rental Car & Cruises at CheapTickets

For a week arriving March 6th at $325 total a night using promo code sweetdeal

We have never paid more than 200 a night. But 325 makes sense less than a month in advance for peak season.

That does seem crazy to me. We booked in January @ slightly over 200/night including airfare for April, which seems to be a very popular time. There is definitely an increased demand for an adult oriented all inclusive vacation. Resort chains recognize this ever increasing demand and it is inevitable they will try to cash in. We have seen it happen @ other adult oriented resorts in the Caribbean, and certainly hope it doesn't find it's way to TTR. After all, we are just about to make our first visit, and I am sure we will have a blast. Just hope it won't be our last because of price. There is nothing like an adult oriented vacation; the fun you have, and the wonderful people you meet, but there is a point where despite the unique atmosphere it provides, you can't justify the added expense. IMHO

We do book last minute, so to speak, compared to some people. Like wake up Saturday morning and fly to San Diego for the weekend. So we're pretty spontaneous. Just kind of shocked to see the 500 a night fee. Ouch. Maybe time to start planning like normal people!

One month prior is pretty far out planning for us. For some couples, it has to be that way due to work schedules and what have you. It's never been a problem. Temptation never been a High Dollar Vacation. You get a lot of bang for the buck. That's why we like it!

Thank you Jess & Paul. I still have a couple tricks up my sleeve. I think I was a little shocked when I went to book, and since discovering this forum, went into rant mode. Never had a place to vent about the resort before! A little premature I think!

We're not swearing off Temptation just yet. At the same time, If Low Buck Resorts want to charge 5 Star prices, there's other Low Buck Resorts we can visit! We like to think we are the K & Q of 3 Star Resorts!

    Love Y'all!
