Hi all! Just an informative post that we will no longer use individual names on signs while greeting people at the airport. We have added hats to our uniforms so we are easily identifiable. Several reasons for this change: The first is since the swine flu problem the airlines are running less flights and now most land between 11AM to 4PM. We have too many people arriving between a smaller time frame and cannot hold up 10-15 signs at the same time. Too many signs too few arms. The octopus wasn't getting along well with the other staff. The second reason is pirates at the airport in low times get creative. When they see a name on a sign they yell out that name and hope they find you first. If they do, they will tell you they are us. Now we will have a full time guy standing with the USA sign and 2 others floating around helping people load into the vans. We have the same number of greeters at the airport and I am hoping to use them better. Very few companies now are holding signs with the clients names on them. If they are it is because they do not have much business and therefore I would assume it is the driver that is standing holding up the sign. If that is the case you will be waiting 10 minutes or more as he runs to get his vehicle. Thank you for your support.
Very wise idea to keep the business to yourselves. Also it avoids the headache for the tourists of being ripped off. Nice going.
Hey Trina, I love those new easy to spot caps with the red, white and blue logo. I know you guys give the best service of all the transport companies that I have heard of. xoxo
