Upgrading to jacuzzi roo - how do we do it for the best price??

Hi you lovely people

We've read a lot on here and would love a jacuzzi room but don't know how we do it or even if it's possible? Especially as we booked a package and jacuzzi wasn't an option

This is our first proper holiday and we are using it as a very late honeymoon - lol 21 years late!!!

Wondered if you could offer some advice

Ive upgraded to a jaccuzzi room both at check in and by emailing the resort (last dec)
Last time it cost 395 us for the week but that was ''supposedly'' a special price Dpends on what room categoty your upgrading from.
I love the rooms , gives you something to do from 5 to 7 to late for sun too early to eat.Sober enuf to ..... explore new frontiers

 

We upgraded at check-in last September. It was offered at a good price. I think even lower than $395.00. It probably depends on their occupancy while you are there.

The Jacuzzi rooms, just so you know, are no different from the regular rooms with the exception that they are ground floor and the balcony is larger to accommodate the jacuzzi tub.

We asked for an upgrade upon arrival. Said they were sold out for that night but could put us on a waiting list. Next day I stopped by and it was available. They said $108 a night. I said I would only do it for the $44 a night price they offer (read about others getting that rate). They then said best they can do is $54 and I said deal. Ours didn't have a shade but was just happy to get it.

 

I always wondered about those shades... Imagine the shadow puppet games people could play, if you had the entire row of jacuzzi room occupants all in their tubs at the same time, with shades down.... thats a theme night waiting to happen... Im patening that hahaha

make sure you get the shade unless your an exhibitionist, there are some at TTR

 

We kept seeing all these red lights on balconies. Not exhibitionists typically but we were too intoxicated and busy to worry about it. It is amazing how many people are up at 3 am. I just wish they would of shared the video with us. People show no courtesy to their fellow man these days right? Ridiculous

We actually have our third child on the way. I even had already won and paid for an auction from skyauction.

This is basically how it went down in a one week timeline...
-Paid for auction win
-Spent a full eagles tailgate making fun of two of my buddies for getting snipped instead of using other methods.
-next day wife says guess what were pregnant!

Very excited but no temptations this year. Going to do a more romantic resort in puerto Vallarta instead called garza blanca preserve.

 

We paid $50 per night for 5 nights! This couple we got to know from Canada tipped the girl $20 at check in to get the upgrade!?! We loved our room which was with shade. We actually ended up using the hot tub only once but had a little party (four couples. guys kept on getting turn in pairs to get drinks for everyone!) in our over sized balcony twice which was a lot of fun!!
