Does anyone know how much it costs to upgrade to a Jacuzzi room at the resort? Unfortunately my Tour operator (Thomas Cook) didn’t offer the upgraded rooms.
We were there in April and our first 2 days was in a Jacuzzi room because of overbooking in the premier rooms. We both got free messages to take one of these rooms. I will never do it again. Not worth it. These rooms are small and the bathrooms absolutely suck. Unless you plan on actually using the jacuzzi ALOT, which we didn't, its not worth what they charge.
We have to agree. We spent the first night in a jacuzzi room and then the next day got moved to our favorite rooms by paty-o's which overlooked the sexy pool. After being in the pool most of the day we had no interest in get back in a jacuzzi. The rooms were nice but not worth an upgrade cost.
About 53$ a night and worth every cent,,, your in the best and quietest part of the resort and only a 2 minute walk to anything
I was moved into the jacuzzi room next to Donald and Bonnie in April after winning the Miss T competition. I found that the room was otherwise no different than any other room (I have been in 4 diff rooms at TTR), except that I have been in rooms with larger bathrooms than in the jacuzzi suite. I find that the jacuzzi room is usually $400 more for 7 nights when booking with a tour provider from Canada. Lee-Anne, if you are not travelling with a significant other, I don't think the upgrade cost would be worth it for you. I didn't use the jacuzzi once...what was I going to do in there by myself? Take a bubble bath? The jacuzzi tubs are the kind you instal in a bathroom...they are not 4-person hot tubs that you can sit around and chat in. They are designed for 2 people to make romance in . Sigh... lol In the months that it is cool in the late afternoon becuz the sun sets early, I think it would be very nice to have a jacuzzi to have a glass of wine in, since there is no hot tub as the resort, but not if you are travelling with friends as opposed to a partner. Well, unless you are VERY GOOD friends If you want to try a jacuzzi room out for free, Lee-Anne, you should do the Miss T competition! :flash:
Since we've a hot tub/spa/jacuzzi at home, both outside and inside which get used often, we really aren't interested in using those at TTR when we go. We DO REALLY LIKE the huge rainfall shower stalls! There is ALWAYS at least two big-time play sessions under those things. Last time in the Temptation Suite (1139, I think). Personally, the room "ain't the thing," it's being with the TTR folks "dat be da 'ting, mon," as my rasta man would say.
When we were there for MAYhem we inquired about a jacuzzi room upgrade. They asked for an additional $100 a night. I offered $50 and they accepted. We are jacuzzi fans and used it every day.
I liked our jacuzzi room - I just wish they had Temptation Suites with jacuzzi's on the deck instead of only in the bathroom. Getting a nice suite is a great upgrade. The jacuzzi room has a lame bathroom with very little counter space, but I do like having the private party option with that room, despite the sucky bathroom. We had the Temptation Suite the other two times, and room 1201 is the best room in the entire hotel!!
That's what Wet Pussy shots are for, darlin'! :ernaehrung024: Besides, the weekly competition is a piece of cake compared the nightmare that is known as the Monthly Competition.
