Ok so we are up in the air we have approved vacation 9-16 but we don't know what to we really want to go to both places its between TTR VS HEDO II. We been to both an in our opinion the both are great with each one being magical on its own way. So if your going during this dates hit us we are friendly and welcome couples and singles. A good conversation can come from anybody.
We are having a similar debate just returned from 2weeks at TTR and planning next trip for maybe November .Was looking at hedo but not sure about it. We love the vibe, theme nights and friendly people at TTR, does anybody know of any other resort similar to TTR.
It's a tough question, especially to an audience of TTR vets, but I have often wondered this myself, as going to the same place repeatedly does seems odd. But from everything that I have read of here, internet searches I have done, and even listening to vets on here that go on multiple other tropical vacations yearly. The simple answer is NO, there isn't anything similar. The only way I can really see myself going to a different all-inclusive (when kid-free) at this point is if it was a week trip to a place we know we can party, but we essentially have to organize a week with 20+ people and bring the party.
I've asked around and dug around myself looking for something similar to TTR because like Scubaman says, we can't go to the same place every time! But without anything similar we have no choice. So here are 3 recommendations I received from different people but I cannot confirm any because I haven't been: 1) Chic Hotel Punta Cana 2) Caliente Resorts, Tampa Bay 3) Paradise Lakes Resorts, Tampa Bay The Tampa Bay places are clothing optional!
I did Breathless Punta Cana last summer.....and it has potential. The Blacklight pool party was excellent as was the masquerade party. However, it does need some TTR people to really amp it up. It is a bit pricier but there are good amenities with that.....everyroom is a Jacuzzi suite (on the balcony......see where I'm going with that?) and the food was excellent. No reservations required other than at the Japanese grill. Curious what a the new Breathless Mayan will evolve into.
For me it is more the party and the people then the nudity. I mean I like nudity, a lot, but it isn't the selling point. You can have a perverted good time anywhere if you got the right crew. I just hate going to a place that doesn't have a crowd. We went to the Royal in Playa 5 years ago for our honeymoon, luckily there was a wedding then, so there was like 25 awesome people to hang out with. If I would have slid across the pool bar like shamu, and no one else was there to watch and cheer, it would have looked pretty stupid. Are those Tampa places all inclusive? I CAN'T get a tab at the end of a vacation. Tabs and me aren't friends. But I do always seems to have multiple high ones around at the end of the night I don't want....similar to my actual friends.
SS, same for me, it is party first, clothes or no clothes doesn't matter to me. As long as the party is good and the people are cool, that's all that counts. The Tampa Bay places are not all inclusive So everything is extra and it will get pricey rather quickly
We've been to both and prefer TTR, with that said Hedo is cool too, and will be in the vacation rotation, just less than TTR. I think seeing who's going at Hedo is more important than at TTR, because Hedo at times can be pretty empty/boring when no groups are there, as the resort itself likes to book more by groups then individuals as opposed to TTR. Hedo's pluses are hotter weather in winter, and an open weed culture if that's your thing. You really can't go wrong with either though...
Same here we've gone to both and TTR is our place of choice. The party is always better the crowd a lot more friendly if you can believe it, when we were at Hedo there was a large group people in the lifestyle ( not our thing but no judgement on those that are ) and they all basically stuck with the group. And not naive we've met several in the LS at TTR and they were way cooler the missus even played a game of 101 questions the one trip. The other thing we found is the nightlife at TTR is better stemming right from the shows to finishing the night at Paty O's. The entertainment staff at TTR was (and I hope still is ) better than at Hedo. The only thing that Hedo really had going for it was the fact there you can experience open sex acts which if you're feeling in the mood isn't bad, I mean sometimes you get that certain vibe from your SO (using that term to include everyone) and instead of having to head back to your room well you get my point. But for us it'll be TTR
We been to TTR 5 times 3 Hedo and been lucky that the party is always popping same level of fun as TTR. This is why it's so hard to choose from Hedo vs TTR. I guess at this point it will be about $$$ and the people that reach out to us and convince us to go one or the other lol
