Hi Everyone! My Wife (25) and I (26) are looking to book a trip to Temptation. One of the great things I see about going down, is the community on this site, and the friends that people have made down there. Our question is, will we be out of place? I have read that there are people there between 21 and up, but mostly mid 30's to mid 50's. I am just wondering if we will be out of place? We are open to meet new friends of all ages, but would also like to meet and create new friendships with people around our age as well. We are currently looking at the 15th - 22nd of Jan 2011 Thanks!
I started going there when I was your age. (I am getting old, I can't believe I just wrote that) I've met the best people ever going and learned it doesn't matter age, sex, race or creed. Everyone is there to have a good time.
The group we meet up with every year ranges from late twenties to late 40's. Don't worry about it you'll have a good time. Don't expect mostly 21-25 though or you'll be disappointed.
ages hi there , I have been many times at different times of the year, and I think you will find a younger crowd there late feb and march.. saying that there is always a good mix of ages, and everyone acts like they are 21 after a few drinks...
I am 25 and Dan is 27 and we had a blast last year. There was a bunch of late 20's folks there while we were there but we actually ended hanging out with an older couple most of the time since we're both not huge drinkers. I think that no matter what age you will have a blast so don't let the deter you.
I was going to say... it's like a college frat party for adults. So we all act in our 20's, or maybe just think we do, but either way we party hard. I remember all the Spring Breakers posting that they stayed up real late, till the sun came up, before crashing and then came out again early afternoon to start over.... at TTR we put on our sun glasses to come home from the clubs, change into our swimsuits and then hit the pool. Our motto is sleep when you die. So don't worry about moving with a slower crowd. Just try and keep up! You see, we've tried a lot of different styles of partying as we've grown older and have now settled into the one that provide maximum satisfaction with minimal effort. In other words we can keep it up forever! So go and enjoy and learn.... With people having tag lines like "Dude - your parties make other people's parties seem like funerals" we all are learning new tricks every trip. Jamie
I agree with Jamie. TTR is like a Frat Party for adults. Many times I have stayed out till 5 am and be on the beach by 7 am. You will have no problems meeting people in your age group. One of reasons that I love TTR for the for the friendships that I have made over the years. You guys will have a great time.
By mid week Paty O's seems like my neighborhood bar on a fun night. I feel like I know most of the cool people and the bartenders know our names and what we are drinking.
