poor Randy always hurts to see him lose. Still not sure why Lesnar even got a title fight after losing his first fight then beating Heath Herring, but oh well...my hats off to him.......how about Florian though ay? Man that dude keeps getting better and better
randy did very well up until that punch.....the weight thing was really the deciding factor....further proving my point that there needs to be a superheavyweight division
Ya I am suprised lesner got a title shot this early........... Mir should have likely had the shot, but, a rematch with mir seems like its the next big fight, but we will see? Lesner needs to get better on his ground game but it will come in time.
well it was originally slated to be Mir vs Noguiera for the title that Noguiera beat Tim Sylvia for, once Randy left the UFC. Then, once he came back, the Mir/Nog matchup had already been set and they needed Randy to defend his title against someone. The heavyweight division isnt so stacked right now so its slim pickins as far as finding good competition. Right now, Lesnar and Noguiera and both considered as the heavyweight champion and Nogs fight against Mir is for the belt that HE won, beating Tim Sylvia. The winner of that fight, scheduled for the end of the year will end up fighting Lesnar, I would venture to say sometime around April to be crowned the undisputed champion. Its a confusing situation hahah
yep, I agree with you 100% fletch!! Just gives lesner more time to get better...which is scary as he is a HUGE guy!!! If he gets better on the ground and improves his already good stand up, he will be very hard to stop! But, like frank mir proved....he can be beat!
coulda taken that leg home with him if he wanted too haha Mir has always been one of my favorite fighters so I hope he beats Minotauro and then repeats his performance against Lesnar
London could be in for a HUGE treat when the UFC comes back in Feb. http://mmajunkie.com/news/13268/rep...uld-headline-ufc-95-against-chuck-liddell.mma
