Can I get an idea of the typical evening routine? For example, what are the general dinner and "nightly entertainment" times? Do you hit one of the bars on site right after dinner? Do you change clothes after dinner and before the bar? What is the difference between Nice Shoes and Paty Os and what happens at each place? What time do these places usually start hopping? Any other tips or advice for us newbies, like napping before dinner? LOL
Alot of the shows are at Nice shoes. Shows or games are at 930 pm. Most people party in the pool till say 6:00 and then get ready for dinner. After dinner most will head to Patyo's as the DJ starts up at Patyo's around 9:00 and most party there all night with exceptions of the pool party night. The DJ plays until 2:00 AM. most nights. TTR is moving away from doing the DJ at nice shoes as noone wanted to stay there cause it is too hot. Paty'os is an outdoor bar and generally is cooler. Hope that helps.
You will find yourself in a dilema. Do we make dinner reservations or not cuz we'll probably not make it to dinner cuz we were in the sexy pool to long. I would say it is kind of hit or miss on how hard everyone has been partying. Sometimes the sexy pool gets going and nobody wants to stop and you're in there until 7-8. Other times you will be so beat you have to head back to the room to catch some zz's before you get dolled up for dinner. Nice Shoes is only hopin on the lingerie night or the revelations(stripper show)from what we saw. Maybe someone else can cue in here? PatyO's people funnel in generally starting around say 9:30, after their dinner and some prep work on their theme outfit or even a few more cocktails with friends around the sports pool. It doesn't start getting crazy fun until around 11-12. Then you better sit in for a pattyo burger cuz you will find yourself there until around 2. Wait, no 3.... or was it 4? nope definitely 5! thats it! ahhh fuck it we'll just stay up and keep partying. thats what naps are for!
Depends on if its winter and dark at 5pm or Spring/Summer and dark at 8-9pm. Winter & dark at 5pm - exit pool usually around 4pm as it starts to get cold & breezy. Back to room, lay down and relax - maybe nap before dinner at 7pm. If dining with friends we could spend up to 2hrs dining. By ourselves we were in and out in under an hour. Buffet was even less time. After dinner head to room for up to an hour to change if necessary and head to Paty'Os. You really only go Nice Shoes 2X a week - lingerie night and the exotic dancing night - both events start early at like 9pm and end early so your heading to Paty'O's to party by 11pm anyway. You really have to plan the Nice Shoes events out ahead of time and ensure your dinner reservation is early as the events don't last very long so showing up 30-minutes late means you missed damn near half the event. If the sun was out til 8/9pm We often found ourselves skipping the nightly entertainment in favor of relaxing by the pool until 7pm and then dining at 8:30-9pm before heading to the party at 10:30pm. All depends on how the party & crowd in the pool was and what the entertainment was.
What time do they start slinging these legendary burgers?.....its sad but they are definately near the top of my TTR bucket list....gotta love a great burger
Burgers usually start about midnight and go till whenever, they also have some desserts early on the side of the grill but they are generally eaten by 2ish. Don't ever remember being there after 3 but they were still slingin burgers.
We always leave the pool around 4-5 and head back to the room for a snap (sex-nap combo). Get up around 7:30 and go find supper. We don't make reservations and try to weasel into restaurants where we can. We're not organized enough on vacations ot want to bother with scheduled times. If you can't weasel yourself into a restaurant, there's always the buffet which is fine. Then we wander around for a bit and talk to strangers, maybe play a game of pool etc. End up at whatever in the Nice Shoes if somethings going on there or over at Paty-O's. Stay at Paty-O's til 4ish. Grab a burger and go back to the room. Paty-O's burgers are awesome at 4 in the morning. That's more of a its 4 in the morning and you're 3 sheets to the wind sort of awesome rather than them being some sort of culinary masterpiece. If they served those things for lunch, you'd walk right by them. But I'd rate them a Highly Recommend. We wear same clothes to supper as going out. The ladies can wear pretty provocative clothing in the restaurants with no problems. Men generally dress up and try to look like we deserve our women so we don't have any problems at all with dress code.
Does anybody else think Nice Shoes needs a serious overhaul? It's way too dingy and damp in there. Apart from lingerie night we don't bother anymore. The entertainment that goes on in Nice Shoes needs to be in a covered outdoor area. There's a fantastic beach 30 seconds away, with amazing views at night and a cool sea breeze that they're not cashing in on!
