A little off topic but two quick questions for our upcoming trip. 1-Are any of the nightclubs still doing foam parties? Always thought this would be fun. 2-What is the cost of a daily rental of a car and driver. Thinking we would like to take a day trip to Play del Carmen. Thanks in Advance Mike and Tami
Last I heard, (its been awhile) the Oasis was having foam parties, and as for a car and driver, you can try cancunvalet.com I know the do it, but not sure of the prices. I'm sure no matter who you find it will be quite an expense.
We rented a car last year for I think $60. US for the day. It was our first time there but we had no problems driving.
I know a van (up to 14 ppl) and driver with USA Transfers is $240 for 10 hrs, which would work if there was a group of you. I dont think they do cars though, or if they did it would be a similar price since the driver is a fixed cost and the gas wouldnt be much less. Why not drive yourself? Cars are relatively cheap to rent and it's one straight road to Playa del Carmen.
