I am thinking of spending an extended weekend in Cancun for my birthday. I plan on inviting some family and friends to join me. Thus, I am looking to see if 1) October is a good time to go. (I've only been to Cancun in May); 2) which hotel would you recommend that has a nice beach and pool, a variety of activities, all inclusive available, not adults only (have stayed at Temptations before) and in the hotel zone. I have always gone on vacation here in October and I always stayed at Royal Solaris. It's my favorite and it's good for families, singles, couples, girls getaways and man-cations. The food I feel is excellent and the price is just right. That's my two cents!!!!
Most of my trips to Cancun have been in October and it's great. The biggest difference seems to be the discount on prices, you can even get better taxi fares because business is a little slower.
