Il faut voir une chose entre Tulum / Xel-Ha / Xcaret .. Lequel choisiriez-vous? Et pourquoi? C'est ma première fois à Cancun et je sais que je ne peux pas voir toutes les belles places en 1 semaine so .. xx
Tulum is quite a small place and really 2 or 3 hours is enough there, I wouldnt make a whole day trip out of it. You can team Tulum up with Xel Ha on the same trip, since they are close by: See: Tulum Xel Ha Xel Ha is more natural than Xcaret with better snorkeling. But Xcaret is bigger and has more to see and do, definitely a full day - dont miss the night show if you go. Xcaret is also closer to Cancun. Link for Xcaret is: Xcaret
Oh! I post in French! haha Sorry...!! You have to see something between Tulum / Xel-Ha / Xcaret .. Which one you choose? And why? This is my first time in Cancun and I know I cant see all the beautiful places in 1 week so .. Tanks Steve!
I loved Xel-Ha. It was awesome. But I am wondering about Garrafon. I am heading down to Cancun for my honeymoon. My bride to be would like to swim with the dolphins (I have no Desire too) and I would like to do some zip lining. Has anyone been here and how would you rate it compared to Xel-Ha? Thanks! Sean
I have a question about Xel-Ha..They ask that you use biodegradeable sun tan lotion...Where do you get this product while in states. :sunny:
Do you have a health food store where you live? You might want to try Trader Joes or maybe even Whole Foods. We are going to Xcaret sometime during the week of September 6, and we are looking for that sunblock too. I'll let you know if and where I find any here in Vegas.
one thing we learned... if they 'forget' to mention, when you're booking your trip, that you'll need some $$ as a deposit for your snorkeling equipment at xel-ha, don't worry... at the far end of the park, you can trade your room key, flipflops, shirt, etc (basically, anything you have) for snorkeling equipment, then pick it up halfway down the river. so since we had no money to leave as a deposit, we were still able to snorkel... we had to dig for the info though... they don't advertise this small fact.
I don't know if it is the same, but I use oil free when diving and snorkeling, I use Neutrogena oil free, you can usually find it at Wal Mart or even you food market in the sunscreen section.
I think they're just looking at everyones sunblock for the word oil in the ingredients.....that's how it was 4 us.
