What is the most high end spa/resort in Tulum to rehab at for a couple of nights after TTR? Wife wants to specifically go to Tulum for it, and she’s picky.....
The main town of Tulum is nothing special just a Main Street with endless tacky T shirt stores and restaurants . If you go to the old section right on the ocean south of the ruins there are numerous boutique style resorts with limited room numbers and some very high end prices . Google beachfront Tulum Boutique Resorts and you should find what you want
I believe britsrhot2 is right on this one. Maybe Steve has a better idea, but I think the large 5 star all inclusive resorts start to thin out by the time you get to Tulum. There are some high end boutiques down that way. Secrets Akumal, adult only, all-inclusive, is still about 16 miles north of Tulum. If you can handle kids maybe running around and get by with a smaller resort there are probably a lot of options closer.
I’m seeing Nomade, Esencia, and Azulik repeatedly come up in the searches that We’ve been doing. Azulik sounds great except that my wife is not sure about the No Air Conditioning thing...anyone have experience among those? Again, this is after we check out from the long weekend at TTR during Tryst
Royal Catalonia in Tulum is really nice. We've been to Cancun the last 13 years and with the exception of TTR, it's the only place we've been to twice. I would really like to go back. It is really chill almost to a fault.
Afraid not, Tulum is 80 miles South of here and I haven't been there for 15 years. A lot has changed in that time.
Tulum is about one and half to two hrs drive from the airport . Google Cocos Cabanas , we have stayed there a few times , wonderful place to relax after TTR (and closer than Tulum) is not a spa and not pricey or high end but the food and people who run it are wonderful .short walk to the beach . Only 7 rooms if I remember correctly . Ask for Sylvia or Helmut
It's great that your wife wants to prioritize self-care and relaxation after TTR, but I'm not sure if rehab resorts in Tulum are the best choice.
Rehab centers are typically focused on treating substance abuse and addiction, and staying at a luxury spa resort might not offer the appropriate support and resources needed for recovery. If you're still looking for options, I suggest considering a different type of high-end resort in Tulum for a rejuvenating getaway. And if anyone needs more insights on rehab options, reaching out to a reputable drug rehab center would be a better fit. They have professionals who can provide personalized guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
