Just joined this forum (CancunCare). We have been to Desire RM two times, this September will be our third. We are thinking of trying TTR in May or June. Have you been to Desire that you could tell me your preference or tell me a little about TTR. Desire RM is a small resort, I think TTR is a bigger resort.
We've been to Pearl and TTR but not RM. We are splitting our trip in a couple weeks between TTR and RM. That may be the best way to see which one you prefer. At the end of the day, it seems like Desire is more intimate, nude, and more explicit activity in public places, while TTR is more about the party scene with much more participation in theme nights and day pool activities. We like both for different reasons, which is why I think doing a split might become a tradition for us if this trip works out as expected!
TTR has about 426 rooms while DRM is near 114, and there’s 88 at Pearl. We go to all 3 and for different things we like. Always end at Desire and often at Pearl. Like the smaller boutique style of Desire and honestly need to wind down from day drinking & dancing our assess off at TTR. Don’t recommend ending at TTR when splitting a trip. It’s difficult to have to go put clothes back on after being naked for a few days.
while I like both places for different reasons, I personally didn't enjoy splitting vacation at Desire & TTR but agree 100% with BnK if you're going to do it, try TTR first then go to Desire.
