Recently back from TTR and had a great time, so we are looking to come again. However, I've looked on orbitz and expedia at various dates between November and April, and for all dates I've looked at, prices are several hundred $$$ higher for the same number of nights than what we paid for our recent visit. The airline prices look pretty similar, so it appears most of the increase is from TTR pricing. Have they recently increased prices? Are there better times to book price wise? I would have thought late autumn/winter would be the times when one could get the best deals.
Riiiiight. The prices don't stay the same year round due to supply/demand. We have always found All Inclusives to be priced well BEFORE mid December, right before the kids let out for Christmas break! SO. There ya have it.
If you've just got back then it's one of the cheapest times of year (from nowish until early December). If you're looking for 2015 then Spring is the most expensive time of year followed by early Summer. If you're looking for this time next year then it's probably too early for a good deal. Alpharooms often have cheap prices and the comparison site will pull in prices from many different providers (excluding Alpharooms).
I think the price is hit or miss. We are currently shopping for our 3rd trip for mid February 2015. The best price I'm seeing is about $150 more then we paid for February 2014. We are leaving in 21 days for our 2nd trip and that is about the same as we paid in February. I think at the end of the day we wanna go again and again...I'm gonna find the best price I can but we are going no matter what lol
who do you fly with? I was just searching the travel agents, looking like 19/02/15 for 10 days is over 4 200. Time to reconsider.
Air Canada is our only option out of Fredericton. West Jet is starting twice daily flights to Toronto in April 2015. I go with the best flight time/price combo. I will check AC, West Jet (out of moncton), sunwing, sunquest, every single one I can find for different date combos. Right now it looks like February 12 to February 19 is winning at about $2900-$3100. That will get us there for Valentines day and Mardi Gras to party with the Shitshow group Nikki
