Did not take us long, we are already booking our next trip to TTR after being home for 3 weeks.. whats the crowd / weather like in Oct? is it usually booked solid in Oct? I am sure there is hurricane risk but we always do travel insurance so it is what it is..
    Thanks all

We have been 5 times in Oct. Weather is great!! Its hot! We had to cancel one Oct because of a hurricane. Our friends that went anyway said it was a nightmare. the resort has never been full problably 60%. It has always been a great time. We are trying April for the first time this year. Cant wait

We went for Halloween this past year. Resort was at 90+% occupancy and the weather was great. No rain, not even a drop in our 9-days there.

Only complaint we had was around day light savings time - At 3-4pm the wind starts to pick up and the sun begins to set- Too cold to be around the pool past 5pm. Due to the wind, the water was choppy and rough.

We adjusted and were out by the pool by 9/10am as the morning sun was fabulous.

we are going in late oct by then Hurricane season should be wrapping up. Average temp from what I have seen was in the mid 80s. And being oct I would think you might lose a little of the crowd. I like people but to be a little less than 100% always seems better.

I have been to mexico in mid NOV and probably wouldnt go between NOV-FEB as it seems the weather can be a little more shaky.

we were amazed at how perfect the weather was when we arrived Feb 7, mid 80s every day and no rain what so ever - we'd go back in Feb in a heart beat (and are next yr!). we got married in Jamica last summer in Aug - now that was hot. being darker early day in Oct would kinda stink though. Thanks all

went the last 2 Octobers for Halloween..usually 75% occupancy and the weather can be a roll of the dice...2 years ago got stuck down there for an extra 3 days due to a Tropical Depression and like 7 years ago was booked to go but got cancelled due to Hurricane Wilma..luckily each time had travel insurance
