I am Planning a Trip for us and for another couple. I have been to TTR Cancun and thought it was awesome. I like to try new things though so I though Cabo would be cool. Has anyone been to both and have any advice on which one to go to. Also it will be a Sept trip so I hope the Pool water is warm all day long. Went in Oct last time and a few days were chilly. Any input will help.
    Thanks
    Steve

Been to both and like cancun better......Cabos is nice too but not as wild or as fun. Cabos is a quieter vacation and the partiers only come out at night to the hot tub. Seotember is hurricaane season and not sure what it's like in cabos at that time of year but the waves were close to 12 feet high un march when we were there.

    Cancun trumps Cabo

We've done both and we definately prefer Cancun. First, the water in Cabo is far too rough to get into. Second, it is an expensive taxi ride or a very long bus ride into Cabo proper to do anything. We definately liked the food at Cancun better as well. The only thing we liked better about Cabo was that the hottub can get a little wild after dark whereas there isn't anything parallel in Cancun. But, with everything else going on in Cancun, it was a definate winner for us in comparison. Tim and Stephanie (heading back to Cancun Feb 3-10, 2010)
