Following on from Ernesto, now well out of the area, there is a new storm system developing that could affect the area in about one weeks time (as from Thur 16th August)

Tropical Depression Seven (to be named Gordon if sufficient strengthening occurs) is heading this way. It is still a long way out and nothing to be too concerned about at the moment, but one to keep an eye on if you are traveling soon.

As usual, the graphic below updates automatically with the latest predicted track:

We partied all night in the rain during Ernesto. One storm doesn't stop the show!

We were there last year when a storm hit us. Temptations boarded up the hall (which is now all windows) near the sports bar. Two or three nasty days. Luckily, there was Sunday football. They put a buffet in the disco along with games. Also, had a DJ in the sports bar and football on all TV's (not soccer). Wings, hot dogs and sandwiches all day and night. And, of course, great service and plenty to drink.
