What's up with all the bad reviews on tripadvisor? Had such a blast the last time we were there... It mainly sounds like a bunch of prudes writing these reviews or people not having fun and having to blame everybody else for it. but ya... lots of whining on tripadvisor...:huh:
so easy for any resort to hire some one to write bogas reviews whaat 1 person likes another will dis like have to read between the lines also more people will write about a bad experience then a good one (% wise), so that screws up the ratio of reviews bottom line , take what you read with a grain of salt. reviews on here by know members are a lot more reliable
Yeah, Tripadvisor is where I saw the review about the food and being no fresh fruit or veggies. However, everyone on here, who has OBVIOUSLY actually been there, has said there has always been for as long as they have been going. So...
It's just alarming... as I am a Hotel manager, I deal with tripadvisor reviews on a daily basis and my whole career is based on reviews like these... There will always be asshole in the woodpile trying to mess things up but it seems like the majority of the reviews are generally positive... I were just wondering if things have changed for the worse since we have been there last...
You should go read these reviews, reviewers really pretty good at it, unbiased, straight to the point, blunt and direct. Back Again! Last time I actually believed a TA review was our trip to Negril in 2012. We went to a NON AI on the Southern Part of seven mile beach. Glowing praise for this area vs our old standby a mile north ! The "experts" with 15,000+ posts really pushed this area on TA. 8 drug dealers in 10 minutes and not just Ganga !!! Heroin, coke, crack, anything you want. A couple of them did seemed ashamed not to have any METH. A firm "NO" did work MOST of the time. You couldn't even walk on the beach after 12 noon. And the poor single women !!! There were two single women there ho were harassed constantly. For some reason Jamaican men assume they are totally irresistible to American/Canadian women!!! Never read anything about that on TA. Now "they" are trying to convince everyone to only stay in Jamaican owned resorts. TA is a complete scam !!! Each forum is completely controlled by a "few" experts with $$$ interest in the area. Mostly Travel agents/business owners, etc
Screw those lame ass reviews. I've been all over this world on cruises, all inclusive or where ever in Mexico or the Dominican and here I am going right back to Temptaion. I like the people, the atmosphere, the food and the prices. I guess I'm hooked!
