Ok, we just got back from another great week at TTR. So, I thought I would post a report to help out anyone questioning whether to go or whether or not they are going to have fun. Bear with me as some days are not as clear as others...sorry if this gets long... Saturday 20th....We landed around 3pm and got through customs and all that stuff pretty fast. We booked USA Transfers to get us from the airport and it was the way to go! (They are on Steves profile) They were waiting with our name on a board and we were on our way in no time. We got to the check in and they offered us a jaccuzzi room for free!! Of course we said yes. I thought that was a great addition. We immediately headed to the pool to get started for the week. Once there we met up with everyone from last year and people we met on here from this year. So the usual ensued...drinks, games and a lot of fun. I of course got wasted since i brought a bubba keg and didnt need to make many trips to the bar. The most interesting thing that happened to me that night was passing out on the beach and waking up at 7am wondering where the hell I was at. Wife just shook her head and laughed at me. good start to the week. Sunday 21st....Most of this day was pretty hazy...I got started too early and really dont remember much of anything, other than recruiting peopl for Steves Booze Cruise. My Wife said I had a hard time walking...funny, I dont remember walking anywhere. : ) Monday 22nd... BOOZE CRUISE!!! We went on the BC with Steve and had a blast. All day on the boat out to Isla Mujeres, drinks food and a golf cart tour of the island. But not before I bought some hideous short at a shop that Had MEXICO on the ass, that were too small and too short. (Figured I needed some flair for the cart tour I guess) Nice Shoes bar later and off to bed sometime after 2am (I think) Tuesday 23rd....Kind of a tam day compared to the previous 3, but nonetheless, a great day at the pool. The staff worked hard and make it a great time. Wednesday 24th...CRAZY day at the pool! Body shots...craziness etc. Wife and a few friends decided they were going to set goals for shots. Pool was packed and EVERYONE was in rare form!! a full day at the pool, beach volleyball etc. Thursday 25th...Kind of the same as Wednesday...pretty crazy again with a few people moving slower because of WEdnesday. But Casino night was a blast, I wore my Crown Royla bag and a tie again. Actually got in the finals for the Lingerie contest but ws immediately disqualified due to pouring my drink all over me during my "dance" : ) I didnt mind...you should have seen the competition!! no way this fat guy is winning THAT!!! : ) Friday 26th...I was spent, Wife was still going strong and I was just plain hurting...but we had a great day downtown and went on the resort Booze Cruise in the evening through the lagoon to Carlos and Charlies for dinner. I opted to head home and the wife went to Senor Frogs. Saturday 27th.....Heading home.....we went out to the pool for a short time and saw some people off. Again, the transfer was on time and fast. All in all the trip was GREAT! The capacity was probably around 50% but I preferred it that way. The staff was awesome and the restaurants, you didnt need reservations. That was a HUGE plus, in addition to the free upgrade. Steve's Booze Cruise was again the highlight of the trip. Thanks to everyone we met and hung out with. We had a GREAT!!! TIME!! It was so good to see everyone from last year and all of our new friends we met. Everyone was so nice to be around! Hope we see everyone next year. Everyone take care & have a great rest of the summer.
