I can't piece everything together by which day it all happened, but here's the jist of what went down. -JFK Airport with Kellz -Arrive -Arrive at Salvia, get placed in a 1* room, literally, then they realize it was the wrong one so we were switched out. - Beers on the beach - Surfin Burrito, meet Byron who works there, coolest dude in town. Went to Congo, as Frogs had a paint party that night. .......and that's the only day in order I remember, so here comes the rest. We went to Mandala with Steve (Esteban), his brother, Henry, Norma, Norma's friends...sorry if I forgot anyone, it was awesome, much better than I remember from last year. I think that same night myself, Norma and her friends went to Ultra until about 7am, if it wasn't that night, it happened another night haha. Everyone told me they were going to The City the next night and that Kellz had a free pass for me thanks to Byron at Surfin. I waited in line for about half hour before they let me in to find them...that didn't happen. Instead, I made friends with the bartender (via tips of course) and he took care of me even though I didn't actually pay to get in +1 for Fletch! Met up with them at Terrasta and finished off the night at Surfin (I think) Another drunken day at Surfin, starting to make people believe we work there. Went to City for DayGlow...absolutely brilliant party. Thought it was going to suck, but everyone had a great time. Next day I was ridiculously sick all day/night....maybe the plague? I beat it with rest and fluids. Spent the last day at Oasis with Henry, Esteban, Robert, Larson and a whole bunch of others. We drank ALOT, met some cool people, I won a pullup contest hahaha. Final night at Sweet with Henry and Norma. For some reason I tried to leave the club with our bottle of vodka...that didn't go over well hahaha. Flight from Cancun to Florida wasn't bad. Got to Fort Lauderdale airport, had to recheck my bag, clear customs, all that fun stuff. Got to the security line and out of nowhere there was chaos, people yelling, security closed off all gates and people were in a panic. Never did find out what it was all about, but scary none the less. As usual, I award a Spring Break MVP. This year, there is no ONE person that deserves it...I give it a tie between ALMOST everyone we encountered throughout the trip, and especially those who were part of our crew the entire week. Everyone played a pivotal role in the amount of fun that I had. I thank you all so very much, and look forward to partying with you again next year. As I told Henry...if we can party it up before then, let's definitely get on that!! Also, onto the other matters at hand, I'm sure the guys would like to know about the ratio. I swear, it has never been so even. We went from the 6th to the 13th. From Wednesday to probably Saturday, the ratio was incredible, once Saturday hit, and all of the big schools started coming in for peak weeks, it was dude central. Definitely shooting for the earlier weeks from here on out. Songs heard most through the week.... Im stuck doing the first week of march next year.. well I think March 4... thats when Joshs school spring break is, and we picked vacations from work accordingly.. what job has you pick in February, and your vacation period goes from April-March... only UPS.. lol
It was crazy fletch and I took over the burrito spot for the entire week lol I even took pic with the chef hahaha we were all over the place! Dayglow wow best party Of my trip! Hands down! ... Cancun Heya its our first time going to cancun and were a group of 12 Females from Dublin,Ireland. You seem like you know your stuff and im trying to find info about them "party passes" do you need them?? What about all that cover charge and que waiting if you dont have a pass?? Were going for ten days first into the second week in march 2013.
Fletch, somehow I didn't see this trip report until now...was certainly some awesome times...including Mandala, DayGlo, and the craziness that was Oasis beach party. Looking forward to 2013, already booked (5 - 12 March). Can't wait!!
I think Mandala is my favorite spot.. i love it there.. hope to see you all there in 2013. Hookah it up!
