Golden P resort, Got in around 2:20. Customs was no problem, just long lines, transfers were prearranged with best day so waited about 7 min and away we went. Room was ready when we arrived (428) Great view, almost dead center looking out into the ocean and we could see everything going on. Room was clean and nice would give it a 4 comparing it to Couples in Jamaica which was a 5 star resort. Shower was big enough for 4 but was only used by 2. LOL!! Can't understand any negitives. Breakfast buffet had different stuff everyday and lots to pick from. Impossible not to gain 5 lbs from it. Many times we hit it back for an early lunch or went to Breezes. Chicken sandwich at breezes is very good. Evening dining hit everything but the raw fish house as I call it. Just not my kind of thing. Shangrala. (can't remember how everything is spelled) was extremely good. Best beef i've ever hand and I've killed a few steers. We even tipped the cook and he came out to say thanks. I call it the butter knife steak house. It's that tender. Barn is nice but food is like just about every other steak house. I think we hit ever bar but some things are a bit fuzzy. Pool is very clean and we did see them testing the chemicals daily. Ocean surf was really big. Up to 4-5 foot waves. We brought big size insulated drink mugs and it was perfect for sitting on the beach and for ice tea regaining strength for the day after the evenings of you know what. Never saw so many 35-45 year old ladies turn into wild crazies. Staff was great. We tripped as we saw fit, usually at Breezes food shack, all the bars, wait staff. A buck here and there and they remembered you. Bring lots of singles and 5's. Cook at shangrala got 10 bucks for that one steak!! Jose at the Tiki would have a drink waiting for you, usual evening camp out site before hot tub. Last night ended as a bust for me. Had something that they called a seafood soup. It was great but turned out something in it I was alergic too. Throat started to swell up just as I finished it and I ran to our room and chewed 4 pills. Put a damper on our last night but sure was a blast. Glad I packed some alergy stuff. I would pack some things you hope you dont need but will be glad you did like, alergy, headache, sinus pills, bandaids, like a minor first aid kit. There are some sharp stones and stuff in the ocean but not too many, it's just if you hit one just right. If you have to buy it at the resort its very very expensive. Check out went smooth, best day was right on time. Huge line at airport leaving. Overall rating, value and everything we would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Couples was maybe a 4. Now the recovery Oh and almost forgot not one thong seen.
