Before we start, we want everyone know we are members and love both Cabo and Cancun. 9-13: Checked in quick at 3:30pm, realized it was too damn cold to get in the water, so we ate. Then we drank alot, drank alot more at Patyo's, then we went to the lingerie night. We had never actually dressed up before. He was wearing some normal boxers and she was wearing a nice dress with a jacket. When we got to the door, they were really enforcing the rules. They were turning away guys who were not wearing lingerie. So we went back to the room and he changed into much more revealing attire and she lost the jacket. This was the best night of the trip. We applaud them for realizing alot of people were not participating. Hung out with another couple from Texas all night. Ended up at Patyo's, drank alot more, went to bed bout 3. Noticed a tremendous number of single men, we did not care. 9-14: Not very warm again, so we sleep late. I dont think we even put on our swimsuits. White night has very little participation, bad idea. Hung out all night with the other couple and the ladies put on a late night show at Pattyo's. Called it a night around 4. 9-15: Warmer, but the water still felt like very cold. Drank on the beach all afternoon, went to the show that night and was good. Everybody left and it was just us and the other couple. We stayed in there had a blast for a good 1.5 hours. Everyone missed a great show! Left, went to Pattyo's. Amazed at the number of single guys there. Every one wanted a picture with her. I was talking to Tere and Bullett when she came up to me and wanted to go somewhere else because the guys would come up to her and ask for sex. First few time was fine but it was annoying. We ended up at one of the pools and we were all commenting on how strong the drinks tasted. The two ladies passed out on the chairs and we just hought they had too much. 9-16: Other couple tells us that they were having crazy dreams and were wired all night. It was there last night and we decided to go to Hooters. (not like in the US) We came back and had drank very little. He ordered a rum and coke and some shots for us all. Within 5 minutes, she went back to the room saying she was tired. He told me later that a large group of single guys at the bar were talking s**T about us two. He over heard one say that they 'should just knock us over the head and take our wives'. He did not tell me till later since he knew I would have beat some ass as I have a temper about some guys saying they want to rape my wife. He kept the rum and coke as it smelled funny. 9-17: Our friends left as they once again did not sleep. We went to the Playboy casino, once again too cold for us. Only night we got to eat at the asian place and damn good! Went out on the town and called it a night about 3. 9-18: Got back home very late. The other couple called us today and said that they went and had a drug test upon arrival, and it was positive for benzos. The are sending of the drink to get it analyzed. We heard of one husband passing out at Pattyo's and the wife being fondled later and witinessed it one night ourselves. Did not put it all together until they had the tests. We will never go back in any of the winter months, we are not that tough to get in the water. Never had a problem with pictures being taken, everyone asked politely. Only problem with single guys were the ones from a certain part of a certain country. I dont think they have ever had a 'proper' ass whuppin from two pretty good size country boys. We actually felt bad for them as there were very few single women. The resort should offer a deep discount to single women to helpt the situation out. We met lots of great people and cant wait to go back. However, we will only go back with the another couple we know for safety reasons.
Wow - pretty lousy experience it would seem. We hate to think that we need to adopt the "keep your drink covered with your hand at all times" rule! That would truly suck. We wondered about the temp this time of year - hope it is better by the time we get there in Feb! By the way, if boxers were not "acceptable" for guys on lingerie night, what are we SUPPOSED to wear?? I am sorry but I draw the line at MY wearing a bustier or negligee!! Wife looks great in either, but you do NOT want to see me in one!!!
sorry to hear the trip was not perfect but i am still very envious of you being there. just curious did they refuse loose fitting boxers or was it the tighter boxer briefs?
When were there, the men could wear boxers(any kind) they just could not have a shirt on with the boxers!
It seemed that if you were a single guy who showed up in some regular underwear (FTL, whitey tighties, etc) they were turned away. Not sure if they were just picky with the singles or not. They made me take my jacket off before going in.
Not looking to start a huge debate or offend anyone on this site(as there seems to be alot of really cool singles here), but there also seems to be more and more complaints. When we were there in May singles were no problem. In fact, being newbies, a single (icecube) took us in and introduced us to many cc members that made our trip more fun. Your trip seems to have sucked and I would be royally pissed. The more of these reports I read, the more apprehensive I am about re-booking. Based on your trip report it sounds like TTR is setting themselves up for some really bad press. It only takes one crazy asshole. I hope they take this serious. I don't want to go somewhere if I have to watch my wife 24 hours a day to protect her from creeps.
What a shame. Sorry you had to go through all that. It was a pleasure meeting you two. Were there a lot of people at the pool bar? I would hate to think it was the bar staff at fault.
That is awful. The single crowd was so minimal last year when we went we barely noticed. I guess this means all of cancuncare people need to stick together!
Nice to meet you both and sorry your trip didn't quite turn out as planned. The weather could have been much better. I hesitate to write this since I haven't any proof but here goes...Sat. was a nice day on the beach/pool. I had breakfast, unpacked and headed to the pool at about 11am., no chairs so I sat on the beach and came over to watch the games for awhile. Had 2 drinks in the course of the afternoon and was headed to my room around 4 as it was getting cool. A guy stopped me by the quiet pool to talk and he got me a drink from the bar. Some married(English was not his first language) guy who seemed quite loaded announced that his wife(who wasn't there was going to kill me and if she didn't, he would...so weird). This was the only drink that I did not get myself. The first guy went to the bar to get more drinks. I suddenly felt so tired, I left and went to my room. It was schoolgirl night and I had an outfit to wear. It was not quite 5pm but I was so tired, I laid down for a nap. Woke up at 9pm and was still so tired, I could not get up. Finally woke up at midnight, showered and went to PatyO Bar. This was really odd...I've never slept for 7 hours. And I was not drunk. It was beyond strange. Maybe there was something in that drink.
