A number of reports have already been posted for this time frame. It was another great time at TTR; we usually go in October. The April group really rocked! Woody, our ringleader, set a good example of how to party hardy! Tequila shots anyone? I'm going to try to answer a few questions that have had recurring threads: Chinos- still there, still the greatest! He can inject energy & enthusiasm into anything and really pumps up the crowd. He's off Wednesdays. Restaurants- reservations only needed at Italian & Asian, between 10-12 you can reserve the current day plus next 3 nights. Other 2 are first come first served. Never had to wait at Tex Mex or Seafood. And the resort was booked solid. Food & service good as always. Cameras- they were there but never saw anyone out of line, people seemed respectful, pretty much a non issue. Single guys- they can drink you under the table! Backs13 (Jim) hung with everybody and he added immeasurably to everybody's fun; great guy. Steve's Boobs Cruise- man, don't miss it! Snorkelled at a different area, which was nice. Great meal, spinnaker parasail rocked. And the booze; Steve's cruises get great crew and they really keep the booze flowing and the party going. A must do trip! What do you do if it rains?- The staff worked hard to have stuff going on in Nice Shoes. Drinking's always good too. It is a beach/pool resort; it was nice when the rain ended. Naked tequila volleyball- let's just say it's a lot better on a sunny day. Iceland volcano- sorry it kept a few of our group away. Maybe next year? Are people on the forum the same in person- yeah, actually better in a lot of cases. TTR is a fun place, always has been. But as always, it's the great people who make your vacation! ahhh Marilyn&Steve....the guys I kept missing on a few trips and finally got to meet this trip, I think I hung out with you guys more during the day then the friend that I came with haha...you two are a lot of fun to hang out with and talk to, even though marilyn won more shirts then I came down with I think....for those that read this, Marilyn won so much stuff, she actually gave me something just for taking her pictures lol....Truly great to meet you guys, Im glad we were able to finally cross paths.....Glad you made it back safe , im sure the dog missed the heck out of you two haha...now that we have all of each others contact information, be sure to stay in touch so we can plan another trip as it wouldnt be the same with out you guys now, The Standard has been set by all the great people there during our trip, so now we must keep raising the bar
WOW Steve, You pretty much hit it on the head. ( I know it is you typing because Marilyn would have talked about the girls more) HEHEHE Hopefully we can hook up again next year about the same time and hoping the weather is a bit better then it was when we were there. As of the staff when it rains... Did you see how many times they put the cusions on and off at the outside bar? LOL Thats a full time job. Great meeting you guys and many others, had a great time of what I remember of it. AND LOL@ Tequila shots with salt.
Chris and Andrea Got all the T-shirts.. coming back for more I'm thinking Marilyn and Steve raked in the t-shirts this time. She even gave me a shirt the night we were going home, What a sweetie she is.
We always try to win enough T shirts to pay for the trip. Usually only bring one extra shirt, counting on winning a few. Talk about pressure! We're gonna have to just start going April & October. If our dog will let us, that is. But the April crew really rocked! There should really be some sort of contest to figure out what month has the best party. Maybe free beer for the winners. I know the bartenders were saying when we left, "man, we went through a lot of booze this week". Forgot to mention in the report; people sometimes complain about the front desk. They have ALWAYS treated us great, friendly, smiling, and helpful.

Great report!!!! I love reading about everyones trips so i can keep focussed on getting myself together before August!! I just hope I meet as many great people as you all did! :icon_smile:
