We are newbies, so we were a little uncertain about booking Temptations--it was actually our travel agents idea...the wife was concerned about spring break, swingers, creepy guys, etc....so here are the pro's/con's Pro's An incredible crowd of 20ish to 60ish people. We loved that you have an intergenerational clientele that is open to hanging out and having fun with all ages...we met more people on this trip from all over the world that we will keep in touch with than any other--special shout out to JC (Mr. Temptation) and Manuela. We had no interpersonal issues at all--everyone we met was respectful, fun, non-judgmental and kind. Boob Cruise...again, wife was concerned about things getting out of control...it was a highlight! One of our best memories and best days--the music was incredible, the staff was HIGH energy, the group was a blast. Nightly music--we enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying our new friends, dancing, DJ's were good, the live band was by far the best, and Nice Shoes would play music upon request that met with our "older" tastes-lol! The resort is clean. It is a solid 3 star. We upgraded to a Jacuzzi room and loved having it to sit outside after a long day and enjoy the view of the beach together. The bathroom was very small and dated, but clean. Everything worked, but we didn't spend much time there--didn't turn on TV, but it was a newer flat screen. Refrig was refreshed, but we hardly used it. Tipped $5/day and she kept it clean and tidy. Food was ok at the buffet. Not the best, but there was variety and we did not get sick at all. The Italian/Asian was excellent and the wine upgrade choices were good and we purchased wine every night because the complementary wine is not good. The seafood place was ok, the service was not very good and was quite slow. The Tex/mex was good and the service was much better--especially for groups. We tipped at every meal--based on what we estimated the price would be and then gave 10-20% based upon service--I know a lot, but they are poor. Beach--it was decent, powdery sand, but quite small. I love to dive/snorkel and there is nothing to see off of the beach at the resort. They keep it clean and it is still a beautiful view--we found chairs everyday at the beach...shade or sun...no problem. You can walk north for a distance, but you cannot walk south due to the channel/bridge. If you want a beach/snorkeling place, this isn't it. Sailed every day. They keep a section for premier members, so just be aware--it isn't an issue. Pools--they are not cold at all. There is no outdoor Jacuzzi/hot tub. They are clean, smaller and chairs are taken by about 6:30 every day. We didn't want to sit by the pool, so it didn't bother us. The sexy pool activities are crazy and yes, brash/loud/nasty at times...yet pretty funny. It is easy to participate or avoid with no problem. I played a lot of volleyball, so I didn't see many of the activities. Chinos is a good entertainer, Stacey was just ok, Amy was decent and the other guys were hit and miss--they are certainly trying hard and working hard to keep the activities going--just not our thing so we had fun just observing or hangint out with friends. 70% topless the week we were there...nobody cares if you are or aren't...creeper factor was very low--no problems. The guys around the pool were respectful, single guys were fun--don't worry. The few times there were issues, the guys would just have a quick talk and the issue was resolved. Bars. Great. We are not big drinkers, but the red label was fine with me, bacardi is legit, tequila is lower end, but a fair number of choices, etc. bottles were all legit--not watered down. Drinks were as strong as you wanted. Only 1 beer choice--that sucked, but it is Mexico. Bring mugs--they wash the small plastic ones, but it is a quick rinse when things are really busy, but we didn't get sick at all from any drinks with ice. Con's (really not many) Rooms need to be updated. Some are and have been remodeled, but ours needed new tile, more sink space, more rugs, new shower heads, etc. But we knew it was a 3 star, so we were not surprised. The vibe of the resort offsets the older look/feel. Pushy women. Ok, so there are always a few couples that want to push the resort to become something it doesn't want to be--Desire or Hedo. We like the sexy vibe, but I really dig my wife & I don't share, we have fun, we dance, we enjoy dancing with others, but really, some of the women (not from cancuncare) were just putting their hands all over my wife without any permission...not the GUYS, the women! As my wife said--girls love to dance with each other and the gals you know can have a lot of fun together--but you can't just start groping at will because you see some fellow ladies out dancing sexy together unless they say "join us"! The married women were much more out of line than the single fellas/gals! Ok...whew! This is an EXCEPTION not the rule...99% of people have great boundaries, so please don't misread this as the norm...there was a language problem in our case, but once she communicated her dislike it ended...just being honest. We actually think the swinger crowd was quite respectful and never rude. Music. There was a crowd nightly of I'd say 150 at paty o's...seriously, a great crowd dancing and having a blast...at 1 am one night they cut the music without notice and wouldn't start up again...this was really crazy. Some nights it went until 3 or 4 and then on Monday night they stopped at 1. There needs to be consistency with either Paty o's or Nice Shoes so people have a place to party on site. All ages are here--and they all interact! Keep it cranking with that many people!! Overall, this is a great place to have fun, meet new friends, enjoy late night fun without leaving the resort, enjoy pool activities and enjoy and really high energy vibe. It really is what you make it. Thanks to this forum for the advice, TR's, insights and honest opinions. It is for open minded people who can tolerate (enjoy) topless women, sexy shows, occassional pool games that get a tad crazy. Although if you want to just come as a single/couple and keep to yourself, share romantic dinners, quiet beach/pool time, you can do that too. It really was a great choice for us--we are quite social, outgoing, and reach out easily, so it was wonderful. We will come back and plan on meeting our new friends.

Thanks! Haha--you will find them...a lot of beautiful people with great attitudes..my wife and a few of her friends were introducing singles with each other all week! PS--the cancuncare group was incredible! I would say they led the "unofficial" events--glow night was a big hit and thanks to all of those that brought extra glow stuff for the entire crowd (slopoke, supermom, bobby, etc.) Even though Neil in a thong disturbed me at first--he certainly had the ladies surrounding him! It was a very fun group from the forum and we enjoyed hanging out with all of them.
