First of all, anyone plan on going...please read the forums and especially the trip reports, the seem very on point. We arrived before noon on a Thursday and of course the room was not ready yet but soon would be so we changed in a nearby bathroom (see...if you read the forums you would know to pack these things). We looked around a bit and found a spot near the sexy pool to relax (been up since 5am). Had a drink or 2 and our room was ready around 2ish. Our room was in the 5 building and seemed far away from everything (baby would not be happy with this so I asked for a change and the front desk said come back tomorrow morning) so we took a nap there until the evening (read the forums...notice a trend here). We made dinner which was okay (nothing to brag about but good) and Thursday is lingerie Night so we changed and made it over to Nice Shoes. lingerie night (no cameras allowed and most men have to be shirtless) was just a night to wear something risque but nothing more than a place to see what people are wearing, a sexy show with lady participants, a few games and an auction with the casino money won from the few games around the room. I think it lasted to about 10:30 or so. From there most people changed and either ventured out of the resort or went to Paty 'Os. We chose Paty Os and socialized a bit we looked for people we saw earlier and maybe said hello cause they have seen us on the forum or had on orange bracelets (hit or miss item..imho). Since we had a long day we turned in early around midnight. I got up early (I only sleep about 3 to 5 hours) and placed towels on the chairs at the Sexy Pool (hint 3 ...read the forums) at about 6:15 and the place was almost full of towels (also note that this is Memorial Day weekend and probably many more people were here than normal). Went to the front desk and got the room switched to building 2 (right next to Paty Os and the restaurant....okay if you can sleep through the mingling and music til 1am) We ate breakfast around 8 and made it to the pool around 9:30. We were recognized but new people by our avatars and orange bracelets. We talked and had drinks all afternoon (some may remember my "Bubba"...biggest one at the resort..see him in the corner of our pic). Javier (my main man at the Sexy Pool bar is AWESOME) and I gave a nice tip the first day and he filled Bubba up and from then on.....he remember exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. More on Javier later. We decided to venture to the flea market. Took the bus...around 80 - 85 pesos (less than 1USD). When shopping in the flea market .....negotiate.....renegotiate and negotiate again. If you know how...30% is around the good price to pay. It was hot so we made it back to the resort after a few hours. We ate dinner and the theme night was "White Night". We changed into the appropriate attire and mingled with people we met and started to meet more people. Party music lasted to around 1am but people mingled until around 4am. Note: we met people that we in and out of the lifestyle and were not pressured in any way to play. Most who expressed interest made those tentative plans that sometimes fall through but sometime not :icon_wink: This was the general theme until Sunday when we went on Steve's Cruise (highly recommend reading the forums and going). Met the most people and had the most fun.....what happens on the boat ....stays on the boat!!! In a smaller nutshell....the place IS what you make it...it can be a fun relaxing time around a pool with nice people or a relaxing time to just get away. We would like to thank Erin and Vince, Jen and Andrew, Lynne and Chris, Yvette and Chris, Brad (B-rad), Suzy and her hubby, Cliff and Janelle, Jannet and Steve (Cruise director extraodinaire), Juicy (one of the friendliest people with a smile that cannot quit), Antonio (from the cruise), Javier (bartender from the sexy pool.....extra note: seen him the day before we left and by happenstance he was not working that day....slipped him an extra tip....imagine hundreds of drinks and he makes yours perfect to you every time....better than most stateside bartenders), Oliver (Paty Os bartender), Deb and Greg (Greg...we scared the hell out of that rude guy...lol), Jay (my NY brother....Congratulations: inside joke) and all the others we cannot remember that made this a wonderful trip. Thank you all Anthony and Terri
Great TR - thanks for sharing. Just goes to show that people who read/research for their trip aren't dissappointed.
Noticed you said what happens on the boat stays on the boat......... So cameras aren't allowed? Just wondering...... Thanks Sam......
you can bring cameras.. they just want you to be respectful and not take pictures unless everyone involved doesnt care.. like no pictures of me puking off the back of the boat lol
Camera fell in the ocean..........can't help with pics of that cruise. Don't worry Lisa it fell before you started puking. It was nice meeting both of you.
Thanks for your knowledge....... and sorry you were ill on the cruise. Must have been the flu....:bootyshake:
