I'll try not to be too long winded. Our first two trips were in 2006, and 2007 at BBG. There are many improvements since named TTR. The room, food, specialty restaurants, and nightly entertainment has improved greatly. The poolside games are a little tamer, as are the organized nightly entertainment options. However, people can make there own fun at whatever level they enjoy ( I only saw one 'situation' be corrected by security). I did not see any serious issues with improper camera useage, or improper conduct from singles at the resort. There was a larger percent of singles at TTR than BBG but they made things enjoyable. Some of the early twenty something guys and gals were fun to watch. No problems. We met a lot of great people, some from this forum and others too. The friends we made is what made the difference. There are many wonderful people to meet at TTR and I suggest you get to know as many people as you can. We stayed in the resort for the entertainment and bar scene every night. It was a good time and there was no need to venture out. We went to Sr. Frogs for the Superball and that was a good time. The drinks sucked there and we missed the bars at TTR! The dance music is all TECHNO at TTR, which wears on you. The weather was good despite two rainy days. The pool water was 75 - 78 degrees and was fine after being in it for 2 minutes. It was about 78 degrees each day. The poolside entertainment was fun, don't miss it. Janie and others did the pole dancing lessons poolside ... :xyxthumbs:. Many other good events as well We enjoyed a couples sensual message which was different, but very professional and recommended. We took an early morning walk each day on the beach and bike path. It was very relaxing and a little exercise before the liver abuse was a good thing. There are a lot of nice people to chat with in the morning. We only did one specialty restaurant, seafood. It was very good. We did Tex Mex three times (order rib-eye WITHOUT gravy it was fantastic!), and buffet the others. We are not great with making reservations while on vacation so we played it day to day. We heard that a generous tip at the door may create an opening. We want to thank all our new friends for the opportunity to meet them and to be included in their vacation. Cheers to Steve for this great forum, and to all the people here who shared information about their past vacations. There WILL BE a fourth trip to TTR!! Kurt & Janie
Thanks for posting a great TR.. yes many changes have occurred since our first time there in 2003... but most for the better. We'll write our own TR after trip #8 in April... Ken & Joyce
