    Hello,

My daughter and I are working on a treasure hunt together. We live in Billings, Montana. Thereis a radio station running a contest to find 106 obscure items. The only object in the treasure hunt that we don't have yet is a yard glass from Cancun! We've been to Cancun twice, but we didn't get to Senor Frog's. If anyone is interested in sending me a yard glass, I will send them something from Montana--we can discuss! Yellowstone National Park is in Montana, so maybe something from there? Or something from one of our ski resorts or dude ranches?

Anyway, I have to find a yard glass by the end of May. Can anyone help me with that? I know this is a weird request but hopefully someone will find the humor in it and be interested in a trade!

    Thanks for your time!

    MJ and Caroline

I just threw out one the other day, sorry about that. I do love treasure hunts though, total fun! Hopefully someone here has one and can get it to you.

Here's the treasure hunt prize: The person who finds the most items (106 total) will win $5,000.00. There will be 4 tie-breaker items announced at the end of the contest, just in case... Contestants have to live in the listening area to play because the radio station announces three new items each day at 7:10, 1:10 and 5:10 (Mon-Friday).

We have a few of the plastic yard glasses from Senor Frogs Cancun. We'd be happy to send one to you (from Indiana).

That's better, the shipping from Mexico would kill you, Indiana is going to be simpler.

Too bad they aren't asking for those huge silly colorful mariachi sombreros that people always buy here. I know tons of folks in the States who have one of those sitting in a closet, never being worn...

I'll let you know how it's going. The contest ends June 9th. 106 items in all. Three new items will be announced on the radio each day, Monday through Friday. You have to hear it when it's announced because it's not repeated. I've got 62 items (everything they've asked for to-date except for the yard glass) there are only 44 more to go!

Some of the tougher items, besides the Cancun yard glass, were a photo of a license plate containing 1067 within the number; a dollar bill with 1067 somewhere in the serial number (sequential); a dog license from 2001; any item with "Alf" on it (an old TV show); A set of mouse ears with the name "Michael" EMBROIDERED on it....Clinton/Gore pin....a sugar beet...a bag cell phone... an electronic receipt from 3/1/2006...a pawn ticket...etc.

Wish me luck. Thanks again! :D

You should post all your remaining items. I bet you will get some help. One per line is easier to read though.
