Was just curious... To all of you that have gone on vacation in recent times, was there one or a few things you wish you had brought? one nagging item that you were kicking yourself for not bringing? I know most things you can buy down there, but i know myself that on previous vacations I wish i had brought my portable ipod music speakers for the room. (A must have now though!)
An extra pair of sunglasses. Bubble bath in case they upgrade me to a jacuzzi room!(It happened once). Small jar of coffeemate, if you like to make coffee in the room(never enough)!
Big cooler mugs....saves going back to the bar every ten minutes. Umbrella - it does rain in Cancun Underwater camera - if you plan to go snorkelling
Scented candles or plug ins for the rooms. Got lucky last time and there was incense in the room for us. this helped the first day.
Eye drops for when I get drunk and get suntan lotion in my eye for the umthing trip. Ended up going to Walmart in pain this time. Will I ever learn. Eye drops in mexico are $15.00. Kinda sick don't you think.
