Did anyone see the Travel Channel show about the Yucatan? It's called "5 Takes: Latin America" and they follow five journalists across Latin America. Last night's episode was the Yucatan. They visited Cancun and Isla Holbox, went snorkeling with the turtles in Akumal, swam in a Gran Cenote, and went to Xcaret. Nice scenery, but it made me "homesick"
Terri, it will probably be on again and again and again ... the Travel Channel repeats their shows over and over and over ....
this show looks interesting as well about traveling in Latin America...not the same show, but here's the lineup (4 pages worth): http://travel.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=26.14892.120030.32584.x&start=0 the show janie is talking about, it says '5 Takes' has already aired, but check the Web site to re-live the adventure. http://travel.discovery.com/tv/5-takes/latin-america/latin-america.html
I missed that episode damn it. The series hosted by Samantha Brown in Latin America is very good in my opinion. I probably saw all the shows from the season she was in Europe and loved all of them. "No Reservations" with Anthony Bourdain is another great show on the Travel Channel.
I love Samantha's shows! She was spotted on 5th Ave. in Playa in January, so I'm hoping to see that show soon.
