Does TTR have transportation from the airport or should we use USA transportation? 5 Days of sleep left.....
Definitely use USA Transfers. Use the link at the bottom of Steve's page. It helps him out a little bit. We always use USA Transfers even though we get a transfer included with our package. D
Remember to tip your USA Transfers driver, and the fellow that greets you and calls the driver. Tell them to go the back way through downtown...it's faster, and faster is better when the Sexy Pool awaits!
When staying at Temptation resort, USA Transfers is the only way to go. Never do a shared shuttle when staying so close to downtown, you would undoubtedly be the last ones dropped off.
Agreed that USA Transfers is far superior than any kind of group shuttle, and for us it was actually cheaper too! USA worked out to about £45 including tips, whereas a smelly coach transfer stopping at every resort before TTR arranged through the travel agent was £55!
We've flown out of both Calgary and Edmonton to go to TTR. Both times, there was enough people on the plane going to Temptations to fill the transfer van. It's actually not a bad option cause there are no other stops so it's fast as can be. Just grab a few beers from the guy outside the airport and sit back and get to know your new friends. Vacation starts before you even get there. Kinda have to know your airport to know if that's going to work. Alberta does have a pretty good ratio to TTR's tho. So worst case scenario is that you freak out one other couple that gets dropped off at Grande Sumthin-or-Other on your way. Which can be kinda fun too.
We have been talking about this as well, its always nice to talk with the people on the bus, make some friends before you even get there.
