    Anyone know how to get from TTR to Gran Bahia Principe easily and economically? We have a family wedding at the Principe in Feb. and we don't want to stay anywhere except TTR! So we thought if we could figure out how to go down for the day and come back that we'd keep everyone happy! WE've taken the ADOS bus to PDC but don't know how we get from there. We certainly don't want to rent a car or take a cab. Any help that anyone could give would be great!:whisper: We've heard about these collectivo things but don't understand how they work or how to identify them. We don't want to get down there and get stuck either!

    REALLY appreciate some input on this one!

    Thanks!:flagcanada::wave::huh:

    USA Transfers probably have the best price (and great service, btw) if you don't want to use the ADO bus service or rent a car for one day. If you email them they can arrange to pick you up at Temptation take you directly to the Gran Bahia Principe(it is about 1hr 20min south of Temptation) and then pick you up and return you to Temptation at a pre determined time. Probably will cost you a bit more than renting a car however.

    Otherwise renting a car for one day would be your best deal - the driving via highway down there is safe and everything is well marked, almost impossible to get lost. Just obey the traffic rules and keep within the speed limits and you won't have any problems with the local police.

    There are ADO buses that go way south of Playa del Carmen from Cancun. Also, you may just want to get yourslef to PDC and then take a cab or local bus from there.

    Not the most economical but by far the most hassle free and fastest would be to set up a private transfer. I could arrange this for you with USA Transfers if you send me your details, round trip would be $135.
