2 quick questions. 1. Has anybody ever used Uber in Cancun? What was your experience? 2. I am sure this is total operator error but all of my pictures that I upload to albums from my phone come in sideways. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
You took pics sideways Phones have auto rotate, so you don't notice. my guess edit pics and rotate before uploading.

I wouldn't use UBer in Mexico. Besides only buses and transfer companies are allowed to enter the arrivals pick up area I think? Everyone on here uses USA Transfers. No hassle excellent reliable service. Out the door and they are waiting for you. $55 US for 2-3 people private round trip. Go to the Cancuncare home page and click the link on the let of the page.

When you take a landscape or portrait picture on your camera, it, the camera auto rotates, and remembers, , I don't even think about it any more . Could be facial recondition too. That memory/info bit is lost when photos transfer out of the phone, and will display in the default format of the device being shown on , usually , Landscape mode.
There is no Uber service in Cancun yet. We have it in some other cities in México and it is very reliable and way better than regular cabs.
Even though Cancun and the Rivera Maya has one of the highest mark ups for taxi prices in Mexico, I doubt that there ever will be an Uber service in Cancun or the Riviera Maya - the local taxi syndicate(and those behind them) are way to powerful to allow that to happen
