What's the cost of a regular old Taxi to and from the resort from the Airport? Wondering if it's cheaper/any better than a transfer? Why or why not. Need some frequent TTR traveler opinions
$60 or $70 from the airport to the hotel in a fake 'taxi' plus $30 back with a real taxi Real cabs are not allowed to pick up at the airport, only drop off. The only company who can pick up without pre-arranged bookings is a company called greenline who have the word 'taxi' written on the side of their vehicles, but they don't operate anywhere else outside of the airport. They have simply paid for a very expensive exclusive licence to operate and rely on overcharging the uninformed who arrive without a pre-arranged transport option. USA Transfers is $55 round trip private transfer, payable on arrival. The words USA Transfers are converted into a link which will take you to the booking process. No simpler choice really.

What does USA charge for 4 people....we are arriving same time but not leaving same time...how does that work? Anybody know?
USA Transfers is the only way we will ever go since we read all the recommendations on here a couple of years ago. They are AWESOME, reliable, affordable and they get you there asap!
That green taxi has taken us all the way down to Desire for $50 (4 people) at least 10X. I can't remember what they charged us to take us to TTR. But, it was less than that (again, for 4 people). Not trying to cut anyone out of a buck. Just answering the man's question.
