When we were there Valentine's week, we were surprised to see the stark white walls when we checked into our Bash Tower room. Later I found that to be the case in several rooms. (Don't ask! ) Does anyone know what happened to the wallpaper?
During our last visit I had noticed some of the wallpaper was coming off, and since it was textured with a printed fabric it was going to be hard to clean. Maybe they removed it because it's a lot easier to wash a painted wall, or just repaint it?
I thought that might be the case too. I hope they can find some sort of glue to keep it in place because the rooms were much sexier with the wallpaper than they are with the stark white walls. In November, I did notice that the walls needed a good cleaning, especially over the bed!
I feel like right from the beginning people were thinking they were going to need to replace the wallpaper because it didn't seem suited for then environment. We are staying in the tower in two months, and it be nice if there was wallpaper. However, I will say that on last trip this wallpaper was driving me crazy when I was going through a really bad spell of motion sickness/hungover. These vagina looking images were like pulsating...and not in the good way.
OK... I have to point out that statement could be taken in several directions for a funny comment... just wanted to point it out. Why were you staring so intently at eh ceiling for so long?
Interesting but not surprising. We stayed in the exact same room in October 2017 and October 2018... The walls were absolutely disgusting in 2018. Marks on every single wall. Super dark & noticeable... like if I just checked into a hotel for the first time and saw the walls looking like that I probably would have checked out because if they can’t clean the walls then who knows what else they can’t clean (if it wasn’t TTR of course) It’ll be interesting to see what they do. In our quiet pool Jacuzzi room, I don't even remember looking at the wall. Walking in you see the sliding doors to the balcony, turn around the other direction is the hallway door, and there is a glazed ceiling to floor window that make up the rest of that view. One of the other walls has the tv and all the cabinets, so really no paper at all. The only wall with paper we always had our back to, at the head of the bead. Course if paper was falling down that would be hard to miss.
