We are thinking about moving toward these after the renovations and would like to get everyone's opinion on this. Is it worth it with the enhanced food selection and better rooms? During the soft opening the price difference seems small but I don't know going forward. Do you think it will be worth it?
I would expect that there isn't a change from pre-reno. White band menu/Red band menu. The rooms will be different of course, but I can't imagine them complicating things with more menus/options
There was a disclaimer on the steak restaurant previously that guests not in the Tower will be required to pay a charge. This has now been removed. I can't imagine them having different menu option between tower guests and regular room guests. I am sure there will still be differences for members, like there was previously. Who knows what will happen, we are going to have to just wait and see.
We picked the tower room and hope it is worth it, I cant believe it would not be the difference was very reasonable.
Right. We only paid $308 I believe for the opening. When regular rooms were lower $200 something. Now those prices have changed drastically since we booked early and the same bash tower suite is now $500+. So it will be interesting to see how nice the new rooms are and where the line gets drawn for price for it being worth it. Will find out August 15th. Hopefully.
Yeah...I think I paid almost exactly $2000 for 7 days, 6 nights, ground transportation, and flight on one of the popular travel sites. I thought that was a steal for an upgraded suite.
I've been going to Blue Bay/Temptations since 2005. Booked a Jacuzzi room in the Lush Tower for October since I don't know if this room type will be priced our of my comfort zone next year. Even so, we are paying double what we paid when we went last year. Not sure if it will be worth it, but you only live once.....
Do you think the liquor options will be different? I guess they have taken away the restaurant selection exclusivity for the tower rooms but they still seem well priced for the opening months.
