We're torn between booking a return trip to Temptations or trying another resort that might be nicer? Help! Give us some reasons either way? Why we want to go back to Temptations -We loved the fun games -The parties at night were awesome -We liked the themes and got out of our comfort zones(fantastic) my wife and her beautiful tits getting tanned! -Relaxing and enjoying each other for the whole week when ever and where ever. Why we are thinking of some where else. -Food might be better -Nicer amenities -Maybe cheaper or same price but 5 star -Different location -We are a bit shy at meeting people so we are afraid we may sit alone at Temptations Suggestions or ideas? Oh and we're thinking 17th to 24th Sept.

Don't take this the wrong way, but in our experience, if you are sitting alone at TTR it is your own fault (unless you want to be sitting alone, which is also fine) . We've never been to a place where it is easier to meet people.
When I started reading this thread it sounded just like us. Don't get me wrong we love Temptation, but I guess you always wonder if there is something different out there.Why not split your vacation? That is what we are doing in Aug. We are going to spend 3 days at Temptation and 3 days at Desire. We have heard that the service level is 5 star. Of course, we are going party hard at Temptation first and see what happens after that. 12 days until take off. No pun intended
When I said shy I meant more in the way of going out and just talking to random people. We met a few nice people last time and partied like it was 1994 don't get me wrong. Al Kim you kind of hit it on the head for some of it. We like the atmosphere, the party but just wondering is there something else out there. Well just found 7 days for the both of us for under $1800 that may be the turning point.
Short answer, no. We have never found anywhere (even forgetting the party side) that even comes close in price, if you are looking for a decent 4* adult only resort, and believe me, we've looked! :daisy:
We've been to quite a few other resorts, most a lot fancier, better food, top end drinks, outstanding service, entertainment, etc... NONE, repeat, NONE, were as people friendly as TTR. It's the other guests that make this our choice for out 3rd visit in Sept!!!!
"Maybe" and "might" aren't good reasons to look for somewhere else. Unless you've heard extremely positive things about another resort from someone you trust I'd say come to TTR. Book Sept. 28-Oct 5 and Ali and I will make sure you're having a good time, quite a few folks coming in and around that time We've traveled a fair bit and we love TTR, can't see going anywhere else for this type of vacation for a long while. Most resorts seem to shut down at 8:00 unless they're catering to nothing but 20 somethings, you have to go into Cancun to see any nightlife, at TTR it 's all just a stones throw away.
ummm yeah, and you want 5 star for under 1800 bucks? Good luck with that. Let me know what you picked out. You will have to cite your source on the 5 star rating though, just can't be hearsay.
