Reiterating from the last "top ten" list, in the past I had included threads that had been stickied and the threads that achieved legendary status and just would not die! :lol: The new top ten lists are more exclusive, but also allow a greater opportunity for peeps who haven't cracked the list before do to so. The qualifications are: the thread must have been started during the year of recognition, and the thread must never have been stickied. Stickies have the advantage of always being exposed on the first page of their respective forums and get more traffic. Not fair. I am human, so if I accidentally/unknowingly include a thread that once was sticked I beg your pardon. Threads are ranked by combining member participation and general interest. I may tweak the formula differently for the next "new" top ten. And now....... Many pics of the fairer sex in bikinis and wet T's. If au022 had not deleted their pics from the competition, am sure a NSFW tag would have been attached to the title. The thread now is all about posting links to sites featuring other bikini-clad babes. *sigh* TTR Chatters rule!

I thought that would happen. Lucky for them I assembled the list last weekend. This year's compilation was a bit more difficult to do as I have even less free time to go through CC to sort things out. A lot of threads deserved recognition in 2008.
But it wasn't stickyed till 2009 so we golden for 2008 Glad we made the top 10 of something for 2008. :wink: Jamie

I guess I should do number of posts exclusively, which is how the lists were done the first couple times. However, the idea is to also find the threads which had a greater number of participating members as well as those that drew the greatest attention from the general public. So we have also "reads" come into play as well as peeps posting who weren't necessarily participants in the subject matter, but were motivated to say something due to their interest in it. Maybe I shouldn't make it so difficult on myself, because I am using my own brand of higher math when calculating this stuff and it requires a lot of time. However, let it be said about/added to Ian's thread that it had the greater number of posts :lol: Am sure rikib007 is kicking himself for his Vegas trip thread not making the list at all...it was stickied.
