Top 5 moments of our weekend in TTR...
    1) The private pink-part moments (and the not-so-private moments poolside...sorry folks...)
    2) lingerie night (we were the sock guys)
    3) Boobz Cruise
    4) Meeting fun new people and partying with old friends
    5) The guy coming up to our patio asking where the bathrooms were when we were in flagrante delicto in the jacuzzi
5+1) The jets in the jacuzzi in room 1109...hit the button and it was like someone had their thumb over the end of a garden hose on full flow, spraying Kati full-on in the face and then the button wouldn't turn off the jet. We belly-laughed for about a half hour after that.

Bottom 5 moments of our weekend in TTR...
    1) Being too wasted to remember the red rugs are like wearing K-Y Jelly shoes on ice (unfortunately, this included a full-on face plant that broke my nose, knocked me out and left me on the floor bleeding for Kati to find when she came back to the room...LOL)
    2) The 500 stupid ass birds right outside our room each morning...STFU!
    3) Egg shells in the omelets
    4) Bed bugs in room 1109...not LOL
    5) Leaving :-(

OMG - bedbugs!! GROSS!! We booked a jacuzzi room for next week and wanted that side of the quiet pool, but 1106 floods (found that out last time) and I don't need any bedbug shit - dealt with that a few years ago somewhere else and it was a nightmare! I hope you guys are ok!

So sorry to hear about your fall. I know all too well how slippery those floors are!!

Glad you still had fun - thanks for the heads up on another room to avoid!!

Our first room was 1118 and it smelled so bad plus the TV wasn't working, we made them move us even though they were "sold out." 1109 was a great room except for the bedbugs. Good location, plenty of shower pressure, bed was comfortable, etc.

I can't believe they put you in the first room where the TV wasn't working! What about channel 12!? What was the bad smell like? Was it a damp smell, sewage smell or dirt smell? Just curious to what it was so I know to look out for it!

An ancient mildewy, damp smell...not sewage...just totally mildewy/moldy/sour. It overwhelmed you as soon as you walked in the door.

Our friends were in 1108 and said the jacuzzi smelled like it shared plumbing with the toilet.

Not to get too seriously concerned here, but as ones that have a jacuzzi room booked for August I have a big concern over the bed bug issue. If and/or when the wife reads this post and she sees that report it very well could be a deal breaker.

Did you report these issues to TTR management? If so, what was their response?

Ditto QuickCpl's questions -- if the resort is truly full, what do you do if you have bedbugs? that's gross! not unexpected in a resort with a turnover rate like the places in cancun but still gross. and the smell -- that seems endemic to a lot of resorts in tropical locales where they don't run the a/c 24/7 so less worried about that. but bedbugs... should we bring something? sleep on the floor? ick
