We are heading to TTR for the first time (Aug 7-14) and are wondering what are the top 5 things not to miss out on at the resort or around the area?

Hubby and I will be there Aug 5-10...we really want to take a ferry to Isla Mujeres. We went to Isla Mujeres on the Boobs Cruise last year, but are skipping it this year because it is just too long a day out in the hot sun, and not enough time actually on Isla. You can go below-deck to get out of the sun, but then you miss all the fun on the outside. The sun and heat really fry you. Especially if you're drinking. Not enough sunblock on the planet for that. It was a real blast though, and you should do it at least once.
We never actually ended up leaving the resort on our first trip back in February (Other than the Boobs Cruise). Our top 5 highlights...... 1. Showing up to a place and be greeted by 10-20 friends you have never met before (thank you CCC). Get to know as many people on here as you can. It's the people that really make the resort so awesome. 2. Boobs Cruise.....Do yourself a favour and definitely pace yourself the night before as you will definitely regret missing the boat. 3. 3am cheesburgers in bed.....We are soooooo looking forward to this again 4. The after party at Patios once the music is gone and only the hardcore are left. Crazy ish happens at this point. As I recall there was a lot of spanking going on throughout the week, and at least one adventure involving a teabagging 5. Theme night participation.....Even if you don't think you will want to participate, bring stuff just in case. Chances are you will end up wishing you had.

We've only been once and overall we are pretty tame, but TTR will change that a bit. We missed the Boobs Cruise (that won't happen again) so here are my Top 5. 5. Beach Volleyball. Fun, every time. 4. Everyday, all day in the Sexy Pool. Start early, pace yourself, watch or participate in the games (they are always fun), talk to everyone, mingle @ the bar, sit in the Jacuzzi's, lots to do and really a relaxing fun time. 3. lingerie/Casino night -- The casino is actually a little lame, but getting to see everyone in his/her lingerie is very sexy and a nice beginning to an awesome night @ Pattio's and beyond 2. Pattio's -- People of all shapes and sizes, mingling, drinking, dancing, and just letting themselves go. Every night there is amazing. 1. Late Night's on the beach beds/chairs behind the Asian restaurant. I've mentioned many times on this forum how voyeuristic we are... amazing times and much fun ourselves. Hope this helps!
1. Boobs Cruise 2. Staying out late at least one night until the sun is up 3. lingerie night - be daring! 4. Great sex - whatever 'floats your boat', just make sure you do it 5. Making friends with Cancuncare folk, and participating in at least one CCC theme night. You might feel nervous or out of place, but it's definitely worth it.
Different suggestions. 1. Bring the all daring, see thru, short, hoochie mama clothes you wouldn't dare wear at home...this is totally the place for it. 2. Bring smaller bikini bottoms then you think you would EVER wear because once you are there your self confidence SKYROCKETS! 3. Bring funny props ...just for fun...in April I brought a GIANT set of fake foam tatas that I wore over my clothes occasionally at the resort..just for freaking laughs. BOY everyone that saw those things laughed their asses off. I'm sure someone from April has a picture of that. Big Sexy brought a shot dispenser and at it at the pool everyday..it was really popular. Spencer's Novelty's has a lot of fun stuff. 4. Meet as many people as you can while you are sober because if you meet them after you been drinking you won't remember them even if you met them 3 times drunk. 5. Be prepared to see EVERYTHING and push your own boundardies and you will have a vacation like no other. 6. Just a note..if you get a jacuzzi room...go to the store and buy a bottle of bleach and pour the entire thing into a tub of HOT water and let the jets run for 15 minutes. In my experience thus far...those jets are nasty and there is only one way to clean them. If you seen the stuff that came out of those jets..you would never NOT do this. Halloween will be my 3rd trip and I already have made great friends that I will treasure forever. ENJOY!
